Two original cuts lead the way, showcasing Cortese’s signature blend of nostalgic garage vibes and cutting-edge production. These are closely followed by two standout remixes: label boss Just Her delivers a deep and driving rework, while Jozef K, known for his immersive sonic textures, delivers a haunting atmospheric twist, each bringing a new flavour to appease any dance floor.

"Musique Pour Enfiler Des Perles" is the third EP by Poison Gauchiste, aka Eric Labbé, following "Musique Pour Faire Différentes Choses" and "Musique Pour Monter En Haut". It is the result of a slow maturation process, shaped by summer idleness and long winter evenings over the past two years. The EP features five compositions that, as always, blend quirky influences with distinctly personal oddities.

Caution: several of these tracks contain rhythms that might inspire dancing — though it’s unclear whether listeners will actually follow through, given the spells of languor and melancholy that occasionally drift onto the dancefloor...

Biography: 
Protyv is the stage name of Diogo Tavares, a Portuguese DJ and producer of electronic music. He began his musical journey at a very young age, receiving his first piano before the age of six. At 13, he started playing guitar and developed a passion for rock music. Although he never received formal musical training, he taught himself. In 2004, he discovered electronic music and fell in love with genres like house, trance, and minimal.

In 2012, he released his first EP, and by 2015, he had focused primarily on techno. His productions have been released by several labels, including Humman Records, Sector Four Audio, and Folt Records. Protyv has performed at major events, such as the Amsterdam Dance Event, cementing his relevance in the electronic music scene.

His music is available on platforms like Bandcamp and SoundCloud, ranging from ambient tracks to intense techno and drum and bass productions. The vibe of his music is defined by deep, atmospheric layers combined with intricate sound design. Protyv strikes the perfect balance between the hypnotic allure of minimal and the energetic pulse of techno.

With a keen focus on rhythm and textures, his tracks create immersive soundscapes, making them ideal for both late-night club sets and introspective listening. Whether crafting pulsating beats or exploring melodic and experimental territories, his sound embodies a forward-thinking and innovative approach to electronic music.

After reviving his 16-bit soul with rampantly joyful and excessively hedonistic escapades in New York, the now newly-named SONIKKU (casting off the DJ moniker of old and focussing purely on his namesake) takes refuge in the legendary high altitude temple, rising from the forest through the clouds and to a monumental blue-hued floating structure. Sky Sanctuary.

SONIKKU's warm, lilted audio recordings from time spent there tell a story of two SONIKKU's. One, a young producer, all scorched drum carnage with fruit basket plugins that betray a balearic leaning that defied their age (the B-side). Then the second SONIKKU. Pure vibes, positive waves and solid life lessons gleaned all the way from the Sky Sanctuary (A-side).

Cloud surfin, sky swimming, escapist, fantasy-sanctuary blissfulness.

GhostlyCast 70 welcomes the considered ear of Chicago producer Jason Garden. A triple threat, Garden records under the name Olin (working with labels such as Argot, Detour, and Giegling's g~~g~~~g), runs his own imprint (Boundary Monument), and serves as resident DJ and talent buyer for the acclaimed Smart Bar venue. The expansive, freeform mix reflects his approach live—as he explains:

"Over the years I have always grappled with the idea of what a mix should be. While I do enjoy the idea of carefully stitching together something thematic that I might not be able to do live, I’ve always also been a bit turned off by the idea because it feels somehow disingenuous. I get the sense that I’m telling a white lie about what it’s like to see me DJ. Conversely, my favorite part of DJing a party is the spontaneity and joy that can come from the feedback loop I share with the crowd. It’s never perfect, but it’s human and very genuine, which I love. So, while there is no dancefloor to speak of, this mix feels as true-to-life as such a thing can be: recorded without a plan, straight through, at home on a Sunday evening."
