He was quite the contortionist, moving and meandering his way through the crowded room. Thank heavens nobody might be able to see his face amidst the smoke and darkness for they might get the fright of their life at the prospect of his wide eyed gaze and wobbling jaw. 

Things were getting tingly now, he could feel it all over. 

Over there in the corner would be nice, some place out of sight where he would be left to his own devices with little but for the drowning sound of drums and the occasional wobble of the weight beneath. 

This was it, this was what he was after. A good full body gurn, a total eclipse of the senses and chance to wipe the slate clean..

Man Power is your wonderful down to earth DJ. None of that pretentious rubbish, just stick him in a dark room with some loud music and you are good to go. His next release on Nocturne relishes in such sensibilities, a no holds bar dancefloor banger for the troops who like to move.

This album has been inspired by the traditional Valencian card game "El Truc," where each song is titled after an specific move or word from this game's vocabulary.
The game involves betting points or "pedres" that must be won using cleverness and deception.
It is typical to play it on holidays after "armosar" or "dinar" when alcohol, coffee and liquor is involved and there is usually a lot of banter and mocking around since distracting the opponent is key to winning the game.
The game itself serves as a metaphor for the character and personality of the Valencian people, and this album is an ode to the popular culture that surrounds it.

The debut solo release from Glasgow based Stevie Cox. We asked her to tell us about it - 

I have a love hate relationship with producing music and these three tracks all fell into the love pile. I scrap any ideas if I get stuck and it isn't flowing even if i'm halfway through them, but these three all came out super naturally and easily. I made Slinky and Expansion in one sitting each after a really good Subculture night (at Glasgow’s Sub Club) when I was feeling inspired and very present. I played a lot of acid that night and when I sat down to write, the tracks ended up being acid too. Although everything I write seems to feature acid. It's my favourite noise in the world, I love the squelch of it and it just makes a dancefloor pop off when played right. Expansion works perfectly as a transition tune from the warm up into peak time, my favourite time to play. Slinky is a bass heavy, heads-down wobbly number and both these tracks were inspired by endless b2bs with Domenic Cappello at the Sub Club. The Golden Ratio is a wee dnb collaboration with my really good friend Fossil Archive. I've taken Robert's approach of going with the flow when writing music and now don't touch a tracks structure after I've completed it. His encouragement to carry on producing is one of the reasons why this EP exists, so I'm endlessly grateful to him and it means a lot to have him on my debut solo EP. Having seen other DJs play all three tracks out now has been really special and the reactions they got from the dance floor will stay with me forever. I hope you like them too :)

Moisk aka Pletnev & Fourmi Rouz delve into the depths of psychedelia soundscapes with their latest release “Tetris Life’’ on Terra Magica Rec. The duo skillfully balances modular sounds and shimmers through acid synthesizers with their signature style. Offering a wide range of sounds from uptempo half-beat to raw, energetic techno-trance, inviting you into a mesmerizing sci-fi universe. The EP features tracks like “Tetris Life” and “A Glass of Coke with Ice”, that explore underground ambient deserts and immersive jungle improvisations. This is followed by dark and slow breakbeat cuts that transition into faster-paced, floating atmospheric IDM tunes. The 12’’ contains many choppy old-school loops and uptempo trance breakdowns, as in “Orange Button’’ and “Wrong Stability”. Featuring two weird dub/IDM/breaks remixes by Anatolian Weapons and HSDJs x Listensport to round off the wax. Don’t sleep on it!

Paradise + acid = Paradacid. Paradacid is a two-part EP that blends the gritty sounds of 303 and 808 machines with the euphoria of warehouse raves and the ambiance of virtual landscapes and Final Fantasy soundtracks.

This EP combines introspective tracks from periods of isolation with uplifting ones from moments of release, offering a diverse sonic experience without pushing a narrative. It's up to the listener to find their own meaning within the vibrant mix of old and new.
