Let’s Dance - 08PM - by Reda Saiarh is a 10” release on AM Records. Four oddball "New Beat - not - New Beat" tracks produced by this young dj from Geneva (of the duo Ramin&Reda) for renewed appetite for dancing after the lockdowns... title track Let’s Dance is Reda’s 2021 take on the classic Bowie song, followed by an original new production Quinz Lord, in which he samples his girlfriend’s cat. On the flip he worked with Thomas Lavanchy on E-O, a song constructed around traditional Gabonese chanting before finishing off with an ode to Yello medley, mashed up to the deepest kick of the record!

The battered old car moved slowly on the hot dusty roads. Cacti and wild tropical plants lined the beaten path offering some kind of reassurance that they were in fact heading toward the right direction. The radio occasionally flickered and sparked into life only to abruptly crash back into the realm of static minutes later. Perhaps this was to be their soundtrack - travelling music for a travelling people.

In the distance they could see the waves ripple against the shoreline, it seemed awfully far away yet soon they hoped to swim amidst those cool waters and forget all about the bumps and bangs of the road.

Then there was a stutter, the car stopped as the fog engulfed them all...

The La Torre compilation series is one of the best. We don't say this lightly - it represents the true sentiment of the balearic spirit which was born in the outback of Ibiza and Mark Barrott knows this better than most.

His track is the only original to feature on the compilation, a magical piece of music for sunsets and quiet moments.

After the vinyl release of "Life Worth Living" EP, the Belgo-Australiana duo Ca$hminus return with "VER$ION$" which is exactly what it says on the tin - friends' reinterpretations from around the globe. Melbourne’s brotherly duo Donald’s House get things started. After their debut EP on Berlin’s Touch Of A Distance a few months ago, they present their first ever remix: a low slung, far out dub version of “Paradise” - the original will see the light of day early 2020. 

Next up, favourite Frenchie E-Talking (Whities) delivers a shapeshifting dancefloor version of "De Vlasmarkt". A true rollercoaster of a track that takes you places. Emotional entertainment, dare we say it.

Hong Kong’s very own Mr. Ho rounds things off. The Mihn Club resident and one of the powers behind Klasse Wrecks offers a murky, understated groove with echoes of trance lurking out of sigh.
