It were as if he were a small bubble, floating through outer space, a mere dot, an insignificant entity against a vast backdrop. He did not feel small though. His destination was clear and it had been for a long time. Planet Arrakis wasn't far away now and soon they would touch down upon a new earth in which utopia and freedom would be plentiful and for all. This was the dream of the stars.

The diary was covered in dust, the writing across its pages illegible in parts. Since digging it out from the depths of her loft, she's been hesitant to flick through its contents – she knew it held memories she might not want to relive. If anybody else got their hands on it, they might feel differently towards her. It was a strange time, she was a different person back then; surely she couldn't be judged for something that happened many years ago.

London's Motek welcome producers Minube & Basme to the label for an EP that moves through breaks and minimal cuts. As an extension of their originals, the label have tasked three producers to contribute to the remix package: the likes of label pal Chris Llopis, emerging minimal producer Octave and Canada's Jay Tripwire. The latter's reimagination is our pick of the bunch, twisting the OG into a 10-minute trip (excuse the pun) which ebbs and flows from lift off to landing.

Exclusive: Enrico Mantini - Ecstatic Dung

As a music enthusiast, a follower of the scene and arts one has certainly come across one of the many early aliases, like Transitive Elements, Riviera Kidz or Deep Choice, of Italian House music  mainstay Enrico Mantini, who's been releasing music from as early as the 90s of the last decade – classy and classic Deep House music that is, nearly 30 years after it was recorded, still fresh and relevant today. Shortly Enrico released four more tracks from that period of time on his EP 1991 Unreleased Gems, after he had put out an EP 1993 vs. 1995 before, music he discovered while browsing through his archives as the demand of releasing some of his works had risen. As Enrico's passion or addiction has been accompanying him since the age of ten, the artist has made all kinds of experiences in all fields of the music business and industry. This has affected the different music from various genres he produced as well as certain projects Enrico was involved with. Also Enrico has been taking care of labels and worked as an A&R, has been traveling the world to play gigs, is a full-time engineer at DDA Mastering and – as you can tell – his life is mostly circling around music related topics. Right after the release of 1991 Unreleased Gems Torture the Artist sat down with the artist to speak about his daily and studio routines, his early years as a producer, how he got into the scene and much more.

Premiere: Anthony Georges Patrice - Neshama [CB90 Dance Recordings]

Out of Tulum, km.4.5 is birthed. Branching out from the Papaya Playa Project umbrella, its curators have created an extremely special home for electronic music idols and up-and-coming artists alike.

Dorisburg (Boss Musik/Aniara) opens the four-tracker with an introspective and low-mid heavy, percussive, syncopated and obscenely-swung masterclass of his signature and inimitable sound palate that we have all come to know and love over the years so well.

Electronic music stalwart Sebastian Mullaert (Circle of Live/Minilogue) appropriately follows suit with incomprehensible and inimitable levels of depth on his appropriately titled track 'No Menace'. 4x4 kicks lull you into a continuous state of hypnotism that he has come to master over the decades of production he is so well known for. Essential.

Wareika rolls through with polyrhythmic lines of improvised funk and drum-machine jams that draw from Detroit and Berlin - this is second to none.

Kalabrese closes out the record with 'Tribe'; a low-slung excerpt that boasts analogue machinery from the outset and throughout, in conjunction with a happy rolling groove that is infectious to the core.

Berliner Kamyar launches his label I.V.O.E. - Interactive View Of Emotions – with his four-tracker Abyss and delivers music that depicts the same in the view of an inner eye. Musically influenced by the city he resides, the artist, also known for productions under his duo aliases Tonnovelle, comes in with cuts that stylistically move back and forth between various shades of Electro and Techno with a touch of Acid. Speaking of the latter, the EP's title track Abyss, sees bleeps swirl around over an Electro-infused creaking and for the genre typically lush bass line. Abyss probably is a or the soundtrack for a night out in Berlin's clubs, the vivid built up before the Acid-line sets in can be seen as a preamble of an excessive night, which soaks one further and further into it, lets you explore the beauty as well as the abysses of it in this eight minute lasting journey through it.

Kamyar's EP Abyss is released on Interactive View Of Emotions on September 29th, 2021.

Exclusive: Al Bradley - Invisible Beings In Space

We're Going Deep is taking the Acid-route with their fifth installment and provides us with four tracks that seize the genre-typical bleeps in the one way or the other and ensure mental dancefloor moments. The B2 and EP's final or closing track comes from British artist Al Bradley, who contributes his track Invisible Beings In Space to the various artist EP, which also includes music from Tim Jackiw, Böhm and Biz. Al's track though is a dignified closer, starting off with a breathy bass line adding a certain rawness and an unfinished note to the track right away, the typical Acid-bleeps find their way into as the volume of them varies from low to high. The track title's mentioned spacey feel is created through pads and following pad-sequences that add a deep cosmic vibe to Invisible Beings In Space that basically calls for lost-in-space moments on the dancefloor.
