It was the bond of bold friendship that brought these guys together - and of course a shared history of sub-genre juxtaposition and meshing. Both grew up on Punk, Rap, and of course the early days of Techno. »Still There« is their first EP together and thus of course their first for Live At Robert Johnson. It's a venture into the euphoric, psychedelic power of early Trance and Breaks mixed with the attitude and energy of EBM and Electro.

Starting with the moody slow beats of the title tune »Still There«, Y2C takes you on a journey to a faraway chill-out room in some dark yet warm and cozy cellar. Or is this place to be found in synth heaven? It could well be if you listen to those dreamy melodies. Melodies as beguiling as the song of the Sirens that seduced good old Ulysses.

Y2C pick up on that dreamy vibe but throw in that slight and subtle Trance-factor, taking up speed with »Romantic Squat«, dragging you into their very own romantic squat.

Next up is »Love Your Enemy« - oh yes, shouldn't we all? Icy claps with lots of reverb and a bass line draw you onto the dry ice flooded alluminum floor and there's no way back - especially when that strange break with that crazy sound makes you stop for a second and think, why did I stop dancing? Get back on the floor y'all!

The last track »Mairei« is indeed some kind of a lollapalooza ride, a very special ride. And no, it does not lull you to sleep because the beat created by Y2C here is a demanding one, a special which gets you going all over its eight and a half minutes. It's sheer bliss, you gotta believe it. --- need to change this part!

This is not a one-off novelty EP, it's a kinetic collaboration. Y2C is a force of nature, a force of RAVE/WAVE energy, with many more to come, a force to reckon with.

Human Endeavour is the newest addition to Ransom Note Records’ family of sub-labels. Curated and run by Ransom Note Editor, and one half of DJ duo Kiara Scuro, Rosie Ama Cain, the label will be a “space for artists who are exploring the dark, deep and hypnotic corners of the musical spectrum.”

For the inaugural outing, which is released in full today, six artists have come together for ‘Trains Of Thought’: a Various Artists EP that gives a window into some of the sounds, styles and names that you’ll be hearing on the label in the future.

Maputo-based beat-maker Nandele is tasked with opening the release. Working predominantly with analog equipment to craft his raw, unfolding compositions, the hypnotic bubbling groove and whirring bleeps of ‘Incomati’ ebb and flow, just like the river it's inspired by that runs through his home of Mozambique.

"If we were young we'd rise and dance," murmured Cyn as she surveyed the scene from up on the hill. The police had broken up the party, not so much with violence but with the threat of it. All of the fires had been extinguished and smoke was rising in languid plumes as the sun rose over the valley. Most of the ravers had immediately scarpered, probably back to their comfortable middle-class existences to do hot knives in their parents' garage while listening to the latest Fantasia mixtape. But for Cyn and her friends, this was a way of life. They had no place to go but to push on to the next site, the next party. "If we were young we'd rise and dance," she said again, louder this time so everyone who was still with her could hear. "We are young," said Boothy. "Let's go."

Nocturne Thunder is a cousin to A Lily’s acclaimed 2020 album Sleep Through The Storm. As with its progenitor, the songs - including 'Like Rising Smoke', which is premiering on Ransom Note today - were mostly built live, looping and layering a single performance, pushing repetition and patterns. Exploratory, cellular variations on a theme, beautiful, lyrical songs that say something without lyrics.

Whereas Sleep Through the Storm dealt with themes of loneliness in surviving the demands of a challenging world, Nocturne Thunder relates to unifying to overcome them - dancing through the night, together, in abandon and defiance of all that seeks to crush us. It was inspired by 90s New York Rave culture, especially Antenne Books' collection of flyers from the era.

-     Hi, I’m Denis Yurgens, I create this club after to have been divorsed my wife who also took our dog to Sweden, i'm suffer this a lot and I miss this dog so much that I wanted to call the club with same name. Spartak

3.   Can you describe the 44,100hz Social Club project evolution through the years, and the reasons for a fast international recognition?
-	Not really – I just don’t know – luck, respect and love music in myself instead myself in music, maybe?

4.	Are you able to premiere all tracks you receive, or are you forced to be selective? If so, how? Can you provide average numbers so we get an idea?
-	No, but I try to give a chance to everyone

5.	How do you relate to similar international platforms like of Whypeopledance,  Les Yeux orange,  Ransom Notes…? ¿O more locally Como Las Grecas?
-	Nowhow, RN which are very good people and CLG where I was also working in their premieres begin to help them get up with premieres long time ago.

6.	Did you recently change the platform´s name from 44 100hz social club to 432Hz Social Club? If so, why?
-	Oh it’s very easy to discover - Google

7.	How would you describe the alternative music scene in the Canary Islands?
-	 At Zero actually

8.	I saw  that you have a fascination for Belgrade?  Can you expand on this?
-	I love this country since i was kid, people are amazing, I got few good friends from there. Higly recommend you to visit it.

9.	 I discovered the platform through an Dead Can Dance edit by Iro Aka -you seem to have collaborated a bit with the Barcelona duo, as well as other Hivern guys? Can you go through the circumstances around this?
-	Oh, I’m big fan of DCD or Autechre, Seefeel or Cabaret Voltaire, Coil, Psychic Tv and many more artists who make tremendous influence to my music taste and point of view on this incomprehensibly unfair world, since early 90’s and yes I collaborate with Arnau Obiols aka https://soundcloud.com/velmondo who I’m personally think is amazing musician and person, who coloborate with https://soundcloud.com/hivern_disc and exactly with one of the bigest artist i know https://soundcloud.com/search?q=john%20talabot

-	Always want to release music even if its not give you profit at all. I love Elephants and the manners they are moving it’s just magnificent . Yes, I have few projects in mind with some very good people, which I won’t telling now, but soon before the NYE, sorry-


11.	Can you tell me about your future projects ?
-	I just celebrate my 49, so if get to 50 I would be more than happy, and move my ass to Asia finally.
