H. Pizarro - AguaLoca (Suedmilch Remix)

On The Arboretum, Analogue Attic co-founder Alex Albrecht leans further into the dancefloor, channelling the more hypnotic and driving energy that Butter Sessions is known for. Across the five tracks, listeners are treated to Albrecht's signature melody-driven deep house, bolstered by intricate rhythms, a deeper low end, and hypnotic loops designed for larger systems and later hours.

The tracks are playful yet serious, functional yet full of personality. There’s the joy of long blends and the tiny details that bubble up in the mix: field recordings from time spent away, nostalgic archival material, and subtle harmonic shifts that keep the tension simmering.

It’s a record built for dancers, but also for home listening. By embracing a tougher, more energetic sound, this release expands Albrecht's sonic world while staying true to the textural depth and sense of journey that run through all his work.

Alex Albrecht - The Arboretum (BSR047)

The ever-restless crate digger and globe-trotting selector Romain FX steps into the booth for our 137th edition of the Phonica Mix series, bringing with him the full force of his nomadic, genre-bending ethos. 
Born in France but raised across Hong Kong, Taiwan and the USA, he’s spent nearly two decades cultivating a sound with no borders—whether through founding Hong Kong’s Fauve Radio and Fauve Records, digging through the city’s back-street record shops or driving sunrise sessions atop the Great Wall of China. For this mix he set out to “create a melting pot of sounds from different corners of the world, stitched together into my own musical sphere,” he tells us, outlining his intent to blend Canto Pop with Korean beats, Ghetto House with IDM, Indian electronic experiments and dreamy rave, all seasoned with a dash of space disco. That he pulls it off – without caring if genre purists wince – is testament to years of diligent vinyl hunting (over 3,000 records and counting) and a restless urge to challenge the dancefloor. It’s not just the track-list that intrigues, but the spirit of connection through contrast. Expect hidden unreleased gems for curious ears, and a journey that reminds you why Romain FX remains one of the most adventurous voices in underground dance music today.

Let’s give a warm welcome to Scottish producer Neil McDonald, known as Lord Of The Isles, one of our most cherished artists and a true master of his craft. This is his first appearance on Deep Breakfast, and he arrives with a fresh, unmistakable voice. Over the years, he has forged a singular sonic language that rises above the dance floor, drifting into subliminal rhythms, ambient textures and experimental realms. Gifted at weaving dynamic narratives, he summons powerful emotions and otherworldly visions. Lord Of The Isles possesses a rare ability to draw the listener into his own world, rather than guiding them through theirs…a beautiful place to linger.

Outta Limits Radio Show 28th November 2025

The stream gently bubbled in the light of the morning sun. The water trickled softly down the mountain face towards the rock pool below, a love flowing upon a distant wave. As they gathered at the foot of the cliff they looked up to the sky above, enchanted and mesmerised by the glimmering reflection of the water's glow. White mist lay softly amidst the campsite, soon they would begin the next part of their glorious trek towards the head of the hill. 

Shadow City are set to kickstart their record label with a three track release purpose built for basements and festivals alike. With the EP having already been supported by the likes of Denis Sulta, Midland, Dan Shake and more this one is bound to be big.

The sound echoed in the dusty chamber. A small crowd had gathered to observe him play in what was a beautifully orchestrated environment. The audio was crystal clear, it landed softly upon the ears of the delicate audience as they stared fiercely into the darkness. For he was not visible, at least not to the naked eye, the vamp was all that was important in this place, not his outward appearance, tattered clothes or distant gaze. The music was all that mattered. 

Arkajo makes up one half of the infamous Genius Of Time duo. His solo work sees him draw upon darker influences, more akin to the sound of murky back room club.

The cries echoed through the darkness on a hot, stormy night. The rain splattered upon the dusty floor and the tribe moved steadily forwards into the glow of the moonlight. They rejoiced in great glee at the falling sky, their cotton shirts soaked beneath the damp rain water. These were the voices of Africa which were missing from the traditional coverage in the 21st century. Too much time was spent buried in the past, in trials and tribulations of a proud and noble people. Tonight, the rain would cleanse such stereotypical despair. 

José Manuel's "Excursion Africanism" was arguably one of the highlights of last years musical calendar. Now the release has been remixed and who better to feature than Mehmet Aslan?

The television set flickered and buzzed in the corner of his bedroom. As he ate his breakfast in solitude he pondered what the day might hold for him, productivity, despair or joy. These days his life was varied and distinct, far different to what he had perceived it might be as a small child. Ray, they called him, a man about town. Little did they know of his reluctant existence on the 12th floor flat. His anxious tendencies and his distaste for the world outside. 

Hammer is best known for his musical output on Feel My Bicep and Optimo. Now he steps up to release a new three track EP on LOFT Records.

She stood up and walked towards him along the corridor, she introduced herself with a whisper before wandering off into the night. In the background the echo of chamber music reverberated between the hollow walls, he felt dizzy and weak at her very presence. She did something far beyond words were capable of describing. Erotic and erotica in the purest form. 

Into The Light return with a spectacular assortment of music from Akis Daoutis, a Greek musician who has been recording for almost forty years. They reveal new material alongside reissued gold on a new compilation titled "Space, Time and Beyond".

The white paint was flaked and tired looking. It had weathered many a storm, seen fights come and go and grown old beneath the flickering lights of the bathroom. It was time for a new colour, a new scent and a reimagined dream. They were to be red from now on, red walls, all of them. The bathroom was frequented by travellers from far and wide, the mirror had shared many a moment with lost souls. Individuals caught gazing at themselves and into the beyond. 

Nothus and Delikwe are set to release a fresh new EP on XCPT Music. The release sees them deliver two tracks alongside a pair of remixes from none other than Mgun and Dj Plant Texture.
