Milan based DJ & producer @nICo_sound explores a broad range of music styles, from slow electronica, tribal rhythms to dark disco and techno. After his first release on Glasgow imprint Huntleys&Palmers, he released on Inside Out Records and more recently on Lyon label Hard Fist Records.

The track could be described as slow warped techno, like a distant vision of abandoned buildings, with menace around every corner and freaky synth motifs that hook you in ever further.

The words were hard to come by, she'd sat in silence for what felt like hours trying to articulate herself but it was impossible: words continued to fail her. She stared at a fixed point on the wall, unable to pull her gaze away, hoping this focus would bring with it a sudden brainwave. His eyes burned into the back of her head, his patience wearing thin now. She knew talking was the only logical solution, but it was easier said than done.

Oddball Fantasies is a new label springing up from Brussels way. For their inaugural release they've called on the talents of Invisible Inc and Chambre Noir producer Puma & The Dolphin who delivers an eponymous four-tracker of organic, rhythmic delights. Described as "a ritual dance to take you to other worlds", the collection of psychedelic slow burners and enchanting grooves pull from dub and leftfield, and are just as suited for home listening as soundtracking hazy late nights on the dance floors.

Staying loyal to his eclecticism, Mori Ra approaches this time a lil more to the dancefloor by doing a more hedonistic work than his previous release on “MM Discos” , an exuberant “disco-no-disco” exercise mixed with ethnic references, wicked percussion, charming marimbas and an endless of psychedelic elements. 

A record done for the soul; spiritual, mystic, highly addictive and 100% danceable. A very special release where the Japanese artist has involved his son who helped with choosing the sound source for this record.

Featuring eight cuts, five of them being recorded in collaboration with Truus de Groot, lead singer of Dutch new/no-wave outfit Plus Instruments, ‘Medhead’ is a statement to the power of electronic language as a summoner of deep-laid, recursive narratives. Emancipated from normative restraints and nonsensical branding, the album spans everything from slo-drip kraut to wasted disco, through murky motel-pop, neo-kosmische, hip-hop, industrial and, quite obviously, a healthy dose of reconfigured indie-rock motifs. OMDD presents their first ever digital release fusing the sounds of early 1980s Downtown New York with 21st Century beats and massive Dub DNA injections. 

They say: "No longer in our Belfast studio, wedged between the everyday mundane. We are in the ‘down town’ New York bar that lives inside our mind. Gathered with people of the night, getting drunk and getting high, anything feels possible, yet all in good time. 

Drums roll, the bartender cranks the volume up, as the sax begins to play. Time pointing towards morning, yet people want to stay.

Canny lad Jo Howard has drafted in an earthy bunch of reprobates for his debut EP on his own label Sulk Magic. The Bird Of Paradise features alongside other avarians, but the stand out slice is this weird, religious shuffler from mysterion Obb Globelyn. Like the finger snaps, it lures you in to it's mazey musica. Patted soft bass and synco riddims, cultish cants and flip rewinds make this beauty feel a little sordid. Antoine Harispurus was raised by a robot called V.I.C.T.O.R. The robot took care of little Antoine and early on he gave him music lessons and also the right equipment, for example a Roland 808. Robotic, mechanical precision became significant for Antoines music and soon he left the safety of his mothers toy store for the huge European club scene under his new pseudonym ”Golden Bug”. This year he releases two songs as a 7” vinyl and in digital format on Höga Nord Rekords.  On the B-side ”Hitodama”, guest vocalist Jessica Ho is plays with her voice in a bubbly way above Golden Bugs characteristic metallic, world music influenced sounds and beats. The music would fit perfectly in a vast alien mountain landscape. In conclusion, the music on this 7” is the sound of human and robot in close symbiosis - Golden Bug is music by robot and human for robot and human.
