Beatrice M.'s Bait invites Trois-Quarts Taxi System back into the fold for both the artist’s and label’s debut album release, ‘Plexus’. Leaning into innovative 140 mutations, Trois-Quarts Taxi System dedicates his first long-format release to exploring the depth of this space and stepping away from his usual 170/80 sound. A deep meditative journey of introspection.

Taking the name ‘Plexus’ from a key he found in the street, the album is split into various parts with the heart of album comprised of three parts of ‘Plexus’ - drone-like soundscapes which retrace different states using a variety of acoustic and electronic sounds combined with samples from an anonymous cassette found in the street. This hybridisation of sound is often influenced by ideas Trois-Quarts Taxi System comes across whilst working on his live shows; an artistic practice that is very important to his output. On this occasion, Trois-Quarts Taxi System has used this extended period to explore the bridge between dubstep, techno and experimental, pieced together with quiet ambient moments.

Having James Shinra back on AF is always a cause for celebration, and doubly so this time because we present 'Meteorites’, his second album following the highly acclaimed Vital Heat (2018). During 2023-24, James uploaded a series of digital releases called 'Meteorites’, a set of dreamy and introspective tracks where the artist showed his evolution and maturity, refining the emotive sound that's his trademark and has garnered so much praise in recent years. We should do justice to that material, giving it a worthy treatment/format, so we decided to release all together. James has revisited and reworked many of the tracks for the occasion, polishing, adding, removing… and the result is 'Meteorites', the album. A MUST for all braindance sensibilities and nonconformist electronic  heads. We're sure it will remind you exactly why you loved this talented guy for so long and why he's one of the most uncompromising artists working in electronic music these days.

We’re thrilled to welcome back Konalgad to Dance Data, this time with his debut LP, “Club Dream”. Spread across two discs for maximum fidelity, this is sound system music with grooves primed for mixing and dialed-to-a-Tee bass weight, but hovering above the grounded structures are fleeting rhythmic textures that veer things off into a world worth getting lost in. Throughout its 11 tracks, “Club Dream” plays out like a full mix, ebbing and flowing through a variety of energy levels and moods. Some of the range you’ll find here includes half-time dream-step, peak time pulses, and dubbed out mid-tempo tech, all done with a cohesive restraint and appreciation of atmosphere. The record imparts it’s own kind of dance floor dream logic onto the listener, inviting us to let go of making sense of things and trust in its fuzzy logic.
