There was a funny smell which hung in the air, it was murky and stale - a foggy mist in which humans, processors and errors were all that wandered. In the corner, the boss laughed and smiled with a wry sense of arrogance and cynicism. It was pointed and cruel...

Proxyan is set to release a new EP on Something Happening Somewhere featuring an intriguing remix from Tracey, a producer who continues to explore the realms of experimental electronics and machine based funk.

The patterns weaved and meandered before his very eyes, they were hypnotic and cast a spell upon his train of thought and vision. Conceptually they were stunning but beneath the glow of his frazzled mind and the substances which danced a merry jig amidst his chemicals he was lost in a maze of wandering lines and blurry dots. It was going to be a long night as he marched between rooms whilst the drums rumbled and banged in his ears, he cast a glimpse outwards onto the floor and began to move. 

Armec is set to release a new EP on Echocentric Records, an EP which is provocative and thoughtful. It channels elements of space and IDM, with agile sound design and intricate angular electronics.

Seven years they have been stirring up Rennes electronic music, and obviously they're not about to stop! After its numerous and always more ambitious events, the Organisme Texture launches into the label's adventure with TXTR Recordings, a complementary extension to the collective's artistic direction. Two of its founders, Yann Polewka and Cleft present us this new project and the first compilation released on December 4th.

And it's DJ Psychiatre that we encounter at the controls of the second part of the show. A leading artist of Rennes house, present on the first Texture compilation, he offers us a good dose of groove and softness, going through atmospheric breakbeat, italo and deep house.
