The thin winding streets were adorned with all manner of trinkets, gadgets and souvenirs; you could get everything you needed from these stalls, if you were willing to look hard enough. Without a plan of action, you're guaranteed to get lost, to come away with things you never needed, to spend money you didn't intend to. Haggling was the name of the game, and once mastered, this place could become your oyster.

After the success of their inaugural release from Breaka, Manchester-based platform Off Beat follow up with their sophomore release from one third of the brains behind the label, Rhyval. With nods to early Hessle Audio and Swap 81-backed Ramadanman records, percussion and bass play a central role across the three tracks, which is translated through warped subs, crisp snares and rumbling bass.

How did he get home in one piece? He deserved a medal for doing so - or perhaps he had a guardian angel who'd put him in a taxi and shipped him home. A huge chunk of the night had been erased from his memory, only fragments of rambling conversations and blurred faces remained. Thankfully any embarrassing scenes had been discarded, not that that didn't mean they'd taken place. Only time would tell if he'd tarnished his reputation last night...

Baroque Sunburst boss Soreab takes a break from running his label to make his debut on Accidental Meetings. Marking the imprint's first release of the year, Perspectives is a multi-faceted set of tracks that demonstrate his ability to work with contrasting styles, moods and tempos. Three of the tracks are purpose-made for the club but all cut from a different cloth; there's deviant dembow rhythms, heavy broken club music and a dubwise roller, all tied up with the hypnotic droning sounds of the closing track.

The landscape had changed and it was imperative that the cities and towns kept up with these evolving technologies. Entering the train stations, much had changed. Gone were the rickety, rusting carriages, and in their place stood new electric trains, itching to cart you safely from point A to point B. 

For their fourth release, following EPs from Yuki Ame and Phossa as well as a charitable V/A during lockdown, London-based imprint Panel Audio welcome Sydney duo JV & Palf to the family. Named after their local train line, T4, the EP presents four club-driven tracks rife with energy-fuelled drum patterns and UK Techno influences.
