J.M.F is a joint venture consisting of Dresdens Jacob Korn and Leipzigs Good Guy Mikesh & Filburt with both of them throwing in their special secret powers: the analog house feeling and the big bass drum from Jacob and the great melodies and a certain fluffiness from Mikesh and Filburt. Together they howled with the coyotes deep down in the notorious uncanny valley and created two sparkling tracks Philip Dolphia check out the bossy flute and At The Ranch. Lauer (from Artwo Mwambe and Tuff City Kids fame, who just released his ace debut album on Running Back) took a big sip of firewater for his remix and scalps At The Ranch into a raw romantic tearjerker, Elektro meets Rimini Style.

It was a beautiful, god like blossom amidst the otherworldly darkness which swamped all else. Down on earth they observed the burning resolution from afar, worship it they did for it was what made plants grow, water run and the morning light when they awoke. 

Rigopolar is set to release a new EP on the newly formed imprint Nazca records, the label was founded in homage to the ancient Nazca people who loved to dance whilst celebrating nature and music.

After nearly half a decade since their monumental ‘Make It Good’, DJ Tennis and Fink re-collide on !K7. The Certain Angles 12”, to be released on 13 October, includes an exclusive club mix by DJ Tennis. 

Inspired, recent studio sessions have bore two breathing, sonic landscapes, entitled ‘Certain Angles’. Glimmering pianos, droning machines and captivating song writing take form, wrapping the Berlin-based singer’s voice in subtle melancholy. Both humbly understated, yet party-ready, ‘Certain Angles’ perfectly summarises the Life and Death founder’s recent etching in the DJ-Kicks stone. 

DJ Tennis has also called on four of his most trusted allies to reinterpret the single, with four digital-only remixes: The/Das deliver a pensive moment of bubbling body music; Francesco Leali appears with a timeless, genre-bending re-perception as OPUS 3000; Lee Jones salutes the faithful dancers, while Mentrix’ unclassifiable excursion challenges the towering borders of Techno. The 'Certain Angles (Remixes)’ digital EP will be released on 27 October.

INFO: There’s no stopping Theus Mago right now. Mexican cosmic groove wizard, Duro bossman all-round G; Mago continues to lay down gold after gold after gold. Hot on the heels of his Correspondant outing comes this deep hypno session on Pets. 
‘Baqa’ takes the lead, hurling us into some deep trance manoeuvres with its voodoo style chant and hunch-backed creepy chord progression. Total drama, done with class; there’s a lot of fun to be had with a track like this. ‘Jingo’ follows suit with another narrative-like atmosphere. Powered with a deep drive, laced with a little electro charm and armed with an elevated twist onto a whole other melodic plane just when you least expect it, this one’s so detailed you’ll find it hard to mix out of. 
Finally we have the brilliantly-titled ‘Rave Dave’. Thundering drums, rising chords, creepy FX and a momentum that locks you in like it’s 1991 all over again, an industrial strength EP deserves an industrial strength finale. Everyone knows a rave Dave – the type of soldier who could dance all weekend and still be fresh for a Monday – well these are the sounds that loop in his mind. Now they’ll loop in yours.
