Humble B Flats - Blessings of Sun double disk, coming out on Pond Life Records is a sonic spiritual voyage and document of the artist's last three years, overcoming grief and challenges - while deepening a sense of gratitude for the teachings and learnings along the way.

Musically this has translated, to a beautiful series of works, inspired by musical cultures around the world, this Deep House album is infused with jazz, psychedelia , tribal and heartwarming sounds and grooves.

With exception to collaboration with Kudo Sol and Ilja Gussarov (on tracks B1 & C1 respectively) all instruments, as ever, are played, recorded, rearranged and mixed by Humble B Flat, with a more sample based approach to the rhythmic grooves.

Paris-based friends and confidants CLAP42 and WTNS surface with a misty-eyed house track that feels tailor-made for the soft light of dawn. What started as a sampling exercise turned into a slow-burning, smile-inducing groove - equal parts cheeky and tender.

Behind the CLAP42 moniker is a Parisian producer and member of the Skylax crew. His knack for broken beats, soft-saturated synths, and intuitive sequencing gives the track its pulse. At the heart of it is WTNS’ voice - raspy, dreamy, and gently guiding each act. Nearly a decade ago, her first vocal demo “Persian Leaves” appeared quietly on SoundCloud: a raw sketch of a voice still taking shape, already carrying the emotional weight it now commands. 

Light on its feet but heavy with feeling, this is house music with a pulse and a wink - made for the end of the night, or maybe the start of something else.

Running through the undergrowth he bumped and clattered against stray branches and loose rocks. It was dark and the stars flickered in the deep black sky up above. In the distance he could see the lake where he had parked his car, he couldn't be far now. Letting out a deep breath he upped his pace as he approached a clearing in the trees, behind him he could still hear the rumble and rattle of what had chased him down the mountain..
