2013 Red Bull Music Academy alum @klokeuk has been keeping himself busy with more exquisite output, recently dropping the 'First Light' EP on Melbourne imprint @subsquared, while also getting his live electronic trio @TRAVANCORE1 off the ground.

There was a vast empty void within which wild and mad things whirled in circles. It was known by distant space travellers as Dimension X and what lurked beyond the realm was unknown but for those who'd ventured into the abyss. It was a dense black hole, full or murky moving clouds and shrouds of mystery, scientists had dreamt of being able to define the principles behind the entity but had come up short one too many times. Now as it hung, like a glistening orb on the edge of the galaxy, there was little way of knowing what lay amidst the great beyond. 

S. Channel is set for a return to Third Try Records - a label which intrigues and inspires with abstract electronics and weird soundscapes. The new release is no different and features chopped and screwed vocals alongside rugged electro and abstract experimental beats.

The two Amsterdam based producers have produced a four track EP under the guise of Darcey Electronics which is out today on the newly launched label Pleasant Life.

The release features four tracks of off centre electronics, kitsch downtempo and electro which comes off the back of independent releases from both artists for the likes of Safe Trip, Off Minor Dial, Intergraded and Voyage Direct.

As close friends the duo have been working hard in their studio in the Dutch capital but this is the first time that they have ever released music together. 

The record is available on both vinyl and digital with only a small handful of stores stocking copies such as Phonica, Public Possession and Rubadub.

The machine whirred and kickstarted into life - strange sounds emerged from its core as shivers and rumbles echoed in the large empty warehouse in which they watched. A strange ambient, rhythmic performance was underway. It was enchanting to watch and listen to the bizarre sounds which emerged and meandered between all four corners of the large empty room. The sound bounced and radiated with electric precision and left each listener enchanted and spellbound. 

afinss is the Rhythmical Ambient project of Lootbeg & Bajazo a friend in need sound system. The pair have worked to produce a delicate new EP, an intriguing, atmospheric affair which comes recommended.
