The stories were the stuff of legend. Chinese tales had been passed down through the generations from one man to the next as if they were some great prophecy which might predict the future. Stories of swordsmen and cloaked figures who lurked in the night were rife in the local community whilst out amidst the trees the hunters began to gather. Fear had already spread through each town in the local area and by that point there was little to gather as to whether the tales were myth or fact.

Aemong are set to release their debut album. The duo made up of Henrique Uba and Yu-Ching Huang; from Brazil and Taiwan respectively, have crafted a wondrous assortment of ambient soundscapes, electronic flurries and worldly influences.

Ara Koufax (Sam Gill and Luke Neher) have made music and videos together in Melbourne, Australia for over a decade.

Their latest EP follows a string of two-track releases through Cutters Records, CSCN and Fort Romeau's Cin Cin imprint.

'Sweet Pitch' forgoes utilitarian club tracks. Instead, facsimiles of techno, fake trance, uncanny-valley breaks, shuffles, and disembodied voices find their home in a spacious ambient soundscape. It's a compilation of music that never happened.

The cars whizzed between the tall, towering skyscrapers ready to respond to any given emergency dialled in. They were the burners of the midnight oil and the first response when things went wrong... Boy, did they go wrong. They were not the police, the Garda or the law but a group of vigorous, right thinking civilians with a firm sense of pride in the city that birthed them. Nonsense was not to be tolerated in these parts and they would happily lay do the law before the courts had their way with them...

Santiago Salazar is a longstanding producer from the US, a figurehead of house and techno and a keen player in the Underground Resistance movement which gave rise to the groove driven electronic futurism of the genre in the present. Experimentation and jazz, adaptability and creativity - Santiago is a stalwart of all things good within dance and electronic music culture. 

His new album is due for release on the 17th of May later this year and will be out on Love What You Feel. It's strong willed, powerful stuff.

A renowned showcase of fresh talent from the global electronic scene, Anjunadeep’s Explorations series returns this April with ‘Explorations 09’. This time around we welcome seven new artists for their full label debuts in Magdalena, Lily AZ, Tom Peters,  BAILE, Jozef K, Boxer, and Ronfoller.

First up, collaborative track between Magdalena, Lily Az, and Tom Peters ‘I Think About You All The Time’ blends pulsating synths with deep sub swells.

BAILE, real name Reed Kackley, first appeared on Anjunadeep 10 with ‘Soft Light’. His beautiful follow-up ‘Bind’ reaffirms the Brooklyn-based producer’s propensity for rich, textural dance music and asserts him as one to watch in 2019.

Manchester native Jozef K marks his Anjunadeep debut with his delicate ‘Inward Spiral’ - an airy arrangement of synths and pads set on a backdrop of stuttered claps and organic percussion.

UK producer Boxer signals his first label showing with ‘Blue Planet’, an 8-minute epic of expansive builds and lush chord progressions.

Closing out Explorations 09 is debutant Ronfoller. Hailing from Azerbaijan, Ronfoller showcases his distinct sound in ‘Along’, blending a memorable riff with a backdrop of textural steel drums and driving percussion.

Australian born, London based DJ and producer HAAi gets tapped to supply her eclectic electronic excursion 'Drumting' to DGTL Records' first Various Artists EP. 

HAAi has risen rapidly during the past few years, with a standout set in Mixmag's The Lab LDN and most recently winning the title of the BBC’s ‘Most Essential Mix of 2018’. She's become widely known for her unique approach to DJing, fusing a globally-influenced blend of electronic and acoustic elements, but now as she expands her catalogue of original material we're given a much deeper look into her sonic persona. 

The 'Various Artists Volume 1' EP, which also includes tracks by  Rebolledo and Paulor, Axel Boman and JP Enfant, is set for release April 12.
