On one side the shop windows were lined with kitsch trinkets and fluffy toys, on the other street vendors flipped mystery foods illuminated by bright neon lights. It was a feast for the senses, all manner of vivid colours and pungent flavours filled your eyes and ears. This place felt like a confusing utopia, a place you could spend an eternity and still feel as if you hadn't scratched the surface. Perhaps they'd stay here a little longer...

For their first release of the year, Fever AM, the Berlin-based imprint run by Mor Elian and Rhyw, bring together four emerging artists that they've crossed paths with. Following a string of releases from both Mor and Rhyw and an instalment from Tbilisi artist Gacha Bakradze, Gazillions represents their first V/A with tracks from Formally Unknown, Papers, CCL and Flora FM and our pick from Bristol-based producer Silene.

I made this jam on the Elektron Digitakt which I send back to the retailer lately. The Digitakt is a great sampler, but I realised I needed something bigger - the Octatrack was the only alternative, cant wait to finally get my hands on this monster! Imagine how much I am looking forward to the day he arrives since I already advertise the Octatrack in my artwork, without even using it before :)

If there is one Language Premis dominates, it is the dialect of feelings. This piece takes first prize as a fair representation of a dramatic but Docile outro track.

Creating a relationship of Industrial Techno, Electro, and Jungle, RBI is known for DJ sets of heavy uptempo dance music and ethereal absorbing ambient soundscapes. 

RBI has built a strong following with incredible performances across events such as Hopkins Creek Festival, Pitch Music and Arts Festival, Melbourne Music Week, Butter Sessions, Day Break festival and so many more.

Co-founding Fluxx in 2019, RBI has been a catalyst in celebrating new and upcoming talent in the electronic music scene across Australia. Recently, Fluxx released an incredibly staked 28-track compilation that was funded by Creative Victoria that we cannot recommend highly enough. After playing this mix you should definitely go check it out.
