Days are short, light is scarce and the lurgy's going round again... so have you been taking your multivitamins?

Popping pills might get you through a club night but @djfledgling's debut release on @reellongoverdub packs enough nutrients to get you all the way through winter. Forged in a laboratory by designer drug boffins, these four sonic tablets can be swallowed, dissolved in water or left on the top shelf.

Having contributed to several Reel Long Overdub compilations, Fledgling now establishes himself as part of the furniture with his first full effort on the label. Four tunes meander through percussive melodies and tripped out textures to mark him out as one to watch in 2025.

Neil Malkan, rising progressive house producer from India, makes his debut on our label with the release Collider. The original track is driven by dark basslines and a hypnotic lead throughout, delivering a powerful journey on the dancefloor. The release also features two remixes with a mature sound: Will DeKeizer (US) adds his deep and driving touch, while Greg Tomaz (India) strips it back with a refined, progressive rework. Together, the EP showcases versatility and marks a strong debut for Neil on the Shady&Friends roster.

The clock made barely a noise in that busy office. It was but a piece of background detail amidst the shouts, cries, phone bashing and flabbergasted employees of the Wall Street building. The crash had hit them all hard but they hadn't expected it to necessarily be as bad as it now was. Time was absolutely of the essence now, and they had to find it once again to ensure the future of the company remained upheld and afloat. Find time is never easy, but now so, it was more difficult than ever. 

Here is the latest release from the Axe On Wax sub label Axe Traxx. It sees the Australian duo Sonderr offer up three tracks as part of an interesting EP which also features a remix from Mall Grab.

Ever since his breakout track 'U', DJ Seinfeld has transformed from burgeoning talent to breakout star.

Following on from successful EPs on Lobster Theremin, Deep Sea Frequency and Endotherm, Seinfeld will make his biggest impact yet with his instalment in the always on-point, ever-expanding DJ Kicks series.

The 21-track mix sees the Swedish producer weave in-between melancholic ambient cuts, pacey house and cosmic synths in a way that's sure to further establish him as an act on an unstoppable upward trajectory.

Just short of their milestone tenth release, Haŵs pulls up the inimitable DJ Chupacabra (and alias of Davide Piras) for his debut. ‘Yard Club’ takes the intimacy of hazy, expectant dancefloors and transfers it into four subtle shades that demonstrate the understated power of the warmup track – or the after-hours wind-down. 

It’s a neat pool of stripped-back UKG and house that brings up the same delicious sensations of a rollercoaster slowly approaching its descent or recovering from its fall. Where these tools get put into practice is totally up to imagination.
