The silence was unbearable, you could cut through the tension with a knife. Staring at one another in disgust had been replaced with eyes fixed firmly on the floor; they had nothing left to say, nothing that hadn't been screamed and unheard a thousand times before. There was no room for manipulation, blackmail or tears now, the damage had been done, and that was something they'd have to sit with for the rest of their lives. 

Amsterdam-based vocalist and performer Sophie Du Palais AKA Vrouwe Fataal has previously wowed listeners with her commanding 'fetish-inclined' vocals on acclaimed releases for Pinkman and Dekmantel Recordings. 

Following a solo production outing last year via Hague-based imprint traumgarten's debut compilation, Sophie offers up her debut solo LP ‘Endurance of Pain is the Power of Being’ for B.F.E. Records. Across the six tracks, Sophie explores themes of lust, hedonism, technological obsession and millennial alienation, leading the charge with her sinister and untamed vocals that sit on a bed of electronics that pull from EBM, acid, techno, industrial and wave.

Wandering eyes fuelled wandering minds; it was normal to entertain alternative scenarios in your head — healthy even. Imagining the 'what ifs' could be exciting, it could challenge your idea of what direction you're heading in, it could help open your eyes to new possibilities. A one track mind never served everyone, in fact maybe it's just motivated by societal expectations. Sometimes norms needed to be called into question and new avenues explored.

It's been two years since Metallic Means captured the attention of Moscow's ИДА (Ida Sound). His debut release 'Deep Fields' was an introduction to the emerging artist's penchant for experimental and wonky electronics, characterised by a melancholic energy and a production approach that blends samples, synths and live instrumentation.

He returns for a new EP, 'Sonder', which is made up of three tracks that bring different textures and atmospheres, from blissed-out ambience to trippy electronics and shapeshifting rhythms. On the flip Popoff Kitchen affiliate Moonoton channels the sound of the monthly queer techno party into their remix, while Neubau and Electric Tapes alumni Tassilo Vanhöfen morphs the original into a hypnotic trip into psychedelia.

The Wheel of Rituals is an alias of Roberto Auser, veteran Dutch electro
/ electronic music producer, and his darkest sounding project. This is
only the third release in five years time. With a vinyl on Viewlexx and
a tape on Cefalù Tourist Information (a label run by Monocorpse) it
seems the only proper way to continue the journey with this CD EP.

Music-wise the “Immanent EP” is a minimal electronics effort in the
purest sense of the definition: a perfect mix of old school elektro
sounds and early industrial moods. Some of these tracks will take you
down a haunting road while some others are there for the dark club
nights which dare to cover music to move to but avoid a typical pounding
techno beat.

This EP is simply among the best Roberto Auser has produced up till now.

‘Macht Macht Zement’—what does it mean? 80s drums, synths and vocals, almost without context. 
Fallbeil, two soon-to-be men (aka boys), finish tracks at the rate of butchers kneading meatballs. Due to laziness and a lack of technique, everything gets recorded on one track and immediately thrown into the frier. 
Nothing is planned. First up, school detention followed by rough LoFi rap.
The album contains a wide variety of themes; from mailmen to warthogs, from latecomers to sensible conversation, every track is created out of spontaneity. Two very short tracks on this album date back to 1999, when the boys performed as ‘Funky Granatos’ in the local youth centers. Sadly, their performances weren’t successful. Nobody wanted to listen to them and almost every concert ended in mass brawls. 
The track ‘Postman’ comes from the duo’s side project Grand Malheur and was recorded in 2015 in Bronxfeld. More output from this project will appear on various EPs in the near future. 
The album title ‘Macht Macht Zement’ originates from Tom Pötgen. Tom always wanted to throw the sacred hand grenades. We hope he does that right now!

Está por demás hablar de la belleza y propuesta de este disco tan importante en la historia del rock y la música electrónica en México. Hoy 33 años después, el le última noche del 2018  en espera del año nuevo, y tremendamente abrazado por la nostalgia, quiero compartirles una versión muy en demo, e instrumental, pero algo épica de una de las piezas más conocidas de esta enorme agrupación.
Hoy quiero homenajear aquellos tiempos y a ésta gente fabulosa, que tanto aportó a mi vida. Lo hago con toda humildad y respeto, sin embargo he trabajado con mi arsenal más querido de sintetizadores y máquinas.

en espera de grandes éxitos y bendiciones para 2019.
