PREMIERE: 30303 - Acid Sun [Vault Wax]

The sun was bright and alive, it danced atop a backdrop of bright, royal blue and the heat radiated down from the heavens up above. Sat in the field he watched as the long grass blew softly in the breeze as sun worshippers lay perched upon hillsides and viewpoints. Insects buzzed amidst the tall flowers, bees swarmed and flitted between bushes in search of something sweet. He liked that, those bees. As he sipped from an ice cold glass he wondered if the world could ever get any prettier than this...

Sentiments is a producer based in Lyon, we met a few years back when he played at a party for us in Lyon and smashed it out the park with fast paced, euphoric hardcore, italian dream house and wild breaks. We are delighted to see he continues on in such style, this is a new track by him on his label Light On Earth.

He sat surrounded by gadgets and gizmos, by fineries and bespoke garments, nothing was too expensive for this man. Yet despite having everything a person could ever want, a smile never appeared on his face. Materialistic things were of no concern to him, the only thing he was missing was something that couldn't be bought. 

2020 has proved a busy year for Kyoto-based producer and NC4K boss Stones Taro, having already taken his fresh take on breaks and UKG to labels like YAM Records' BAM offshoot and Scuffed Records, for whom he released his debut EP back in 2017. Now he lands on London's Highball Records, taking charge of their third release with 'Pump', a collection of four playful, energetic tracks that cement Taro's knack for pushing forward the electronic sounds that preceded him into new territories.

As the clouds rolled by slowly overhead he listened to their rumbling - it was ominous and yet weighted with such promise. A living dub, a noise and a drone in the distant skies above. 

Max In The World is a New York based producer and label boss. He runs Bliss Point - a promising imprint with a penchant for deep, ethereal electronics, dub and beyond. Max himself is set to release a new EP at the start of this year. It features an all guns blazing remix from Lyon dj and producer Sentiments.
