ИДА (@idasound) is a record label from Moscow that was born from a local club night, that brings some of the most prominent international DJs to the city. Such as Chaos In The CBD, Fantastic Man, Mehmet Aslan, DJ Boring, Borrowed Identity, DJ Octopus, Steve Murphy, Adesse Versions, Kornel Kovacs, Jacques Renault to some of Moscow's most famous venues including; Denis Simachev Bar, Science and Art, Propaganda and Powerhouse.

For their sixth release, they welcome newcomer fellow Russian @fakundofakundo to the family. Who has had some notable recent releases on Slow Motion Records and surely one to watch. For the ‘Shoes’ EP he delivers 2 broken beat tracks with dark vibe and some unexpected samples.

Following on from Type-303’s breakthrough The New Ravelution EP, Insult To Injury areproud to present You Ruined SST For Me EP by long time label friends, Pink Skull.We first heard Vr4l4r last year and immediately knew we had to put it out, as itmanages to be both an acid banger and a chordal, emotive piece simultaneously. No mean feat. F4n4pt turns up the heat (and the grit) with groove laden drum machines and analogue synthesisers firing machinegun-esque rhythms over the top. S4phr1s is aslightly weirder affair, as atonal bleeps & noises are anchored by the pounding 4/4 kickdrum.
Finally, label boss Timothy Clerkin provides a dance-floor-ready version of S4phr1s : 808‘s boom and 303’s squelch – it’s an acid workout for the warehouse.

His time would come, one day, deep minded would become more than it was. 

Varum is set to release a new EP on an up and coming label which caught our attention as of late. A Friend In Need seems focussed and well organised, an imprint with character and firm taste.

Patron continues to build a fine reputation with its family of ambitious artists. The label’s superb seventh release comes from Lewski, who already impressed with a EP here back in 2017.
Lewski is red hot right now after releasing on Or:la’s recently founded Céad label, impressing on Boiler Room and playing gigs at top clubs like De School and festivals like Awakenings. The diverse likes of Ben UFO, Avalon Emerson, Helena Hauff and DJ Stingray have all played his house, techno and electro tunes so his credentials are
unquestionable.
The title track opens the EP and is a perfectly dreamy electro cut with a bouncy acid line and spaced-out atmospheres.

Originally released via Terraform Records in 1995, 'Systems E.P. 1' was certainly too ahead of its time to meet with success back in the day. That said, as years went by, so swelled the reputation of this sextet of visionary, alien-engineered jams, soon turning the once $1 bin find into a highly sought-after item on the second-hand market. Much to the displeasure of hardline speculators but for the greatest joy of skint '90s sound lovers, KOC reissues the Systems experience in full force and effect.
Today we premiering B1 track from Ether - mightily explosive 'Detonator' - a wild and woolly acid number that shall not go without conjuring up memories of the early Prodigy's mid-nineties rave exploits.
