There was an old saying, one which had stood the test of time and had acted as a placeholder for arguments and debates all over. In this instance it was used to signal the end of a relationship, time had passed and things had changed whilst each lover had begun to care less and less. They thought not about one another no more and said as they pleased with disregard for feelings, emotions or the legacy which had lead them to this place.

Meetsystem is set to release a new album on Nous'klaer Audio. Described as music to "dance and dream to" he channels elements of electronica alongside pop and ambient soundscapes across what is a luxurious, highly listenable record. This track features Oceanic and comes with our recommendation.

PREMIERE: Meetsysteem ft. Oceanic - Want Je Zegt Wat Je Wilt [Nous'klaer Audio]

Hailing from Rotterdam, Joginda Macnack and Mike Richards are the duo behind Black Cadmium. Cited as DJs, producers, and radio hosts of Surinamese descent, they are influenced by the London - Detroit connection with their sets often filled with UKG, euphoric techno, and the wide-reaching span of the hardcore continuum - all killers, no fillers. This attitude transcends throughout their productions, with releases on Afro Deep, Vaultwax, Ovum, and Carista’s United Identities imprint. Now Black Cadmium make their debut on Portuguese label naive with ‘Chemistry’ EP, out on the 27th November. Their relationship with the label was first introduced to us through their contribution to naive’s mix series where they contributed the 50th mix earlier this year, and now they return with a selection of serious dance floor weapons. On ‘Everything’ you will find a rolling acid number that builds into a hypnotic techno record, drawing influence from late 80s Chicago jack and 90s Plastikman techno.

There was a thick fog which hung atop the city on this gloomy afternoon. It was oppressive and heavy on the senses and cast a spell of unease on those who wandered through the mist. He watched all of this from his bedroom, taking in this grey vision with a bitter sense of longing for the sunshine, for something more. There had to be be a realm beyond this, some place in which laughter and dancing cut through the bleak, dense fog and illuminated each and every life... 

Wheelman is a Glasgow based producer set to release a new EP via Stereotone, an imprint and longstanding party series self founded. Following previous appearances on Studio Barnhus and Don't Be Afraid, this release really cements the producer and eases us forward nicely into the new year.
