Hailing from the Netherlands, Utrecht-based Feiertag has risen through the ranks with a well crafted discography and a hypnotic soundscape on labels like Last Night On Earth, Boogie Angst and Kitsune. He is a consummate live performer and is also the drummer for Kraak & Smaak’s live show. Over the last year he has released a series of blissful singles & EPs giving a mesmerising foretaste of his debut album, set for release on Sonar Kollektiv in June. ‘Saccharine 374’ is a laidback and jazz fueled affair with enchanting chords layered over loose syncopated drums. A rich bassline and punchy vocal chants build the foundations, whilst elevating atmospherics and organic percussion add vital structure to this sun-drenched offering. ‘Saccharine 374’ by Feiertag will be released on Sonar Kollektiv on 19th March 2021.

Outside horses reeled beneath the heat whilst vagabonds drank beer behind closed doors. This was no mans land but she was the only saving grace of this deadbeat county. Little else had ever shone with presence round here, not much to shout home about. 

YGT is set to release a new EP on the spectacularly named Jazz Cabbage records. What about that for a label? Anyway, the EP features sun kissed house and a remix from Strip Steve.
