These were difficult and testing times, they required for patience and virtue. As the world turned, there was a very conscious state amidst the human race, a sense that we were all about to enter wild unknown territory. What lay around the corner nobody knew. When would life as we know it return? These were the the questions asked perilously by the onlookers who danced and sang blissfully unaware of the chaos which lurked beyond the line of sight. Would we even survive? This was the point of reckoning, as we push forwards into the grey. 

De Lichting has established itself as a force to be reckoned with, a prominent label which has released a prolific array of deep, heady music which encourages as much thought and intrigue as it does shoe shuffling. Just the way we like it. The new EP from queniv is no different, technical percussive workouts with brooding energy.

The flowers were in bloom, they blew softly in the warm evening breeze. The sun was setting and soon night would fall across the land. It was peaceful and quiet, the whisper of voices was all that could be heard as they sat and watched a small fire burn hazily. Shadows began to form in the distance as the overlooking trees unfolded their branches, lowering the bushy arms and falling asleep one by one. This was a chamomile night, the sky was pale and a low mist hung in the air. The countryside was alive beneath the black. 

Public Possession are set to release a new EP from Yutie Lee, an ode to flowers in beautifully simplistic song. They have also nominated a number of remixers to the project including Bell Towers, Alva Noto, Oceanic and more.

Today we have the immense pleasure to introduce you to Vinilette.  Vinilette’s musical story begins in Barcelona at her 18´s as she started collaborating as a radio presenter in the notorious pirate radio station, Radio P.I.C.A, nourished by many music genres such as Punk, Hardcore, New Wave, Disco and more. While electronic music emerged she started combining it in her selection and began to take part in an electronic music radio show. She developed her own way of DJing and formed her background base with a unique and diverse style - never committed to one genre and with a certain approach for the obscure, raw and old school sounds.
Today, she is 'visiting' Tales of Psychofonia with a heartfelt interview and a special mix, filled with exquisite Dark Wave and some avant-guard Body Music, reflecting her immense musical knowledge and unique and eccentric style. She talks about her experience of the confinement, her long musical journey, her recent collaborarion with Frigio records, the Berlin 'effect' on her and the challenges of the social media exposure.
