Sai - Human (Anthem JAI Edit)

Panoram’s „vivid and eccentric new album“ (based on Philip Sherburne via Pitchfork) gets the remix treatment by Quiet Village and Luca Lozano. A cornucopia of possibilities, aural delicacies and pulsating sounds, Acrobatic Thoughts would be a rewarding task for any remixer and is a real gift for the relevant guests.
	
Matt Edwards’ and Joel Martin’s Quiet Village project can’t be beat when it comes to meandering, prolix and cinemascope-styled tracks and remixes (see their Allez Allez African Queen one for further notice). Thus, their version of „Seabrain“ is a 11 minute long interpretation. Propelled by ocean travel transmissions, deep sea fantasies, sonar tones and a bubbling bass line, it’s the finest piece of submarine house and feels like a long lost cousin to Link’s Amenity (we take a bow). Addictive and refreshing.
	Wandering Frames follows a similar path on the desk of Luca Lozano. But instead of the abyssal-benthic zone, he takes it higher up in the air. Sitting comfortably on little fluffy clouds, reinforcing the UK bleep continuum and adding skippy beats, Lozanos remix appeals to hypno house collectors, slow-motion b-boys-girls and ecstatic dance fans alike. Peak time can have many hours.

After seven years since this Dutch duo released their infamous “Attic edits EP”, Moiety & Manik are back. Voodoo Hoodoo is their brand new 3-track EP filled with psychedelic analog heat for dance-floors and tribal rituals. Each track tells its own story from voodoo scenes to deep water worlds. This EP won’t let itself be defined by genres, but the style can be described as percussion driven electronic music that will play with your imagination and take you on a trip.

Kraut, also known as Daniel Zuur, has been a staple in the Amsterdam club scene since 2009. He released on labels like Shika Shika, Wonderwheel Recordings, Metanoia, Cosmic Awakenings, Tropical Twista Records and The Other Eye. He has played at clubs/festivals like Sisyphos, Fusion Festival, Gardens of Babylon, Wildeburg, Marktkantine, Garbicz and Welcome to the Future

Hugh Mane has recently released an excellent remix for LOVE APE - ZEN REMIXED, which made us invite him back. We love his warm and groovy house style. He’s had releases on Harvey's Mercury Rising, Running Back, Adult Contemporary, Growing Bin, Ugly Music.

Mens Aperta (meaning Open Mind) is the techno alias for Moiety. The debut EP in 2019 was the first release on the label. Also new Mens Aperta releases are planned for this year. Keep us in check for those

The single remixes have pulsating rhythms and creamy acid basslines, which will hypnotise the dance floor. In addition, the energetic nature and heavy subs make these dance tracks great for peak time DJ sets to generate euphoric moments.‘

It were as if the windows had been wheeled wide upon so as they could all bathe in the glow of the warm, radiant sun which poured down from the heavens up above. It was the release they had all been waiting for, the sign that summer was here and that the cold, dark days of winter had been banished for at least another season. 

Soon wild things would grow, flowers and plants and the dense greenery of the grass would glow and bloom a radiant green in the light of the golden rays before fading a soft gentle brown. 

This was the season he loved the most, a special time in which he felt most whole and at one with everything around him...

Zoo Look are back! The pair have returned in triumphant style with a new EP for Permanent Vacation. 'Release' is perhaps their most direct offering to date - channeling elements of euphoric, melodic house alongside discerning bass infused tendencies. This one will work magic on the dancefloor, especially with that tasty little pause.

The room was crowded, it was set to be a warm evening and as he stood outside the doors he began to shake with nerves as the sound echoed and danced down the corridor. It had been a long time since he'd last been here, for so long this realm had seemed beyond his kind.

Now, he was free to be himself, to dance as himself, to move as himself. Never had he imagined it might go quite like this, with butterflies in his stomach and a nervous shiver which radiated and vibrated down his spine.

He hoped that he would be welcomed, he wanted to be welcome. If this was to be his world now, he'd need that.

Ian Blevins is a prolific figurehead of the modern, experimental house sound having released on the likes of ESP Institute, Futureboogie and Not An Animal. He is remixed on a new EP for Just Jack by longstanding London pioneers Secretsundaze in a fiery, dancefloor approved style.
