Nico Lahs is back on his home label U Fit with another effortlessly classy house EP. This is the latest in a long line of accomplished outings from this prolific producer and, as always, it manages to subtly straddle different worlds. 'Do What U Feel' is vibey house with excitable drums and chords that get you wanting to move, then 'Get Away' sinks you into a sun-kissed Mediterranean house sound awash with breezy chords. 'Losing Respect' is darker, more gritty and dusty, then a Specter remix flips 'Get Away' into a timeless deep house jaunt with real Chicago roots.

Do you know the feeling of coming back from vacation and still holding on to the beautiful memories made at the beach? That’s the mood Nikita von Tiraspol captures on his new EP. Three tracks that move between uplifting summer beach house and melancholic, shimmering evening moods. Perfect for both the island holiday itself and the journey back home.

We are excited to welcome Nikita to our label with his first EP in two years. To top it off, the release is elevated by a remix from Washington, DC–based producer Dommie, who takes a completely different approach. His rework feels like Livity Sound had grown up on the coast of Ibiza instead of the UK.

Finally, Cologne’s Panta Rex closes the EP with a hypnotic dub house track, a never-ending loop that feels like Basic Channel, but at the beach instead of in a Berlin basement.

When it comes to record labels there are very few who can contest the continual relevance of Sonic Cathedral. Born and bred from the depths of obscure club nights they since evolved into one of the most engaging and individual record labels in the UK. Never one for hype or over exuberance they have steadily released music since 2006 and continue to move forwards. 

The latest project to emerge from the record label is a new club night called 'Ambience Chasers'. The evening will take place monthly in London and will focus on the more obscure elements amidst electronic music. Expect soundscapes, drone music and ambient bliss.
