Those who have been lucky enough to attend a @fandangoberlin party will know exactly what type of energy @markgill444 brings to the floor, and this mix channels exactly that into an hour of spring dancefloor energy. Originally hailing from Dublin, Mark has since curated parties and communities in spaces worldwide, including (but certainly not limited to) Brazil, Ukraine, and his current home in Berlin. His broad & global musical influences shine strongly through his sets, creating a seasoned blend of grooves so evident in this mix.

Mark and the Fandango crew (big shouts to @taniajust, @davezerave and everybody else involved) are the epitome of effectively creating community through dance music, something which can often feel rare within the often  clique-based circuit that is so ever popular within the Berlin club scene. We have a special guest this week, London-based Acid Freq. is on the GF series. This is the raw electronics alias of Jeremy Rodriguez, also well known as DJ Chupacabras. He started the Draconian Steps label in 2021 dedicated to getting this blend of dusty, raw electronics with a crisp crunch. The label also puts out the Circus of Death project, which is his collaboration with LIES Records boss Ron Morelli. His releases are on heavy rotation and can't wait to see what else around the corner. As DJ Chupacabras, he's got an extensive body of work and blessed labels such as LIES Records, Public Systems Recordings, Sons of Traders, and many others.
