Characterised by olde-timey valve amp wonderment and raw vocals delivered straight-up like shots of cheap whiskey in a grimy downtown pub, The Ray Guns play a unique blend of garage rock with a distinct, distorted edge. Since forming in late 2009, the boys have secured supports for JJJ favourites Faker, Brisbane heavies Dead Letter Circus, Melbourne rockers Black Devil Yard Boss and infamous American one-man blues sensation Bob Log III. Known for incendiary and unpredictable live performances, they have been on a non-stop road-trip around the island state, plying their wares to all and sundry. Too busy playing to record, they've managed to pencil in their first EP release for December 2011. The Ray Guns play fast and loud and expect you to dance accordingly.
