On 3rd September 1939 King George VI gave his now renowned speech to the British Empire. Recorded by Abbey Road Studios over the BBC landline for exclusive distribution by EMI at the time, two luxury box sets were originally created for the Royal Collection and the EMI archive. 

This set is now available as a limited edition numbered deluxe box set. Featuring a lovingly reproduced replica of the originals' goat-skin leather, silk and velvet-lined case, the 1939 speech on vinyl and CD, a 2012 remastered version of the speech, a 72-page hard-back book detailing the fascinating story of the royal recordings and rare photographs.
