Brighton-based Lotus Beats and Notation unveil "Sunset". Known for their nostalgic music and correlation with nature, the two composers now generate over 500k monthly listeners across platforms. They have also secured placements with Chillbeats. "Sunset" is a fine showcase of their work, with an excursion into a sunset punctuated by a slow bpm and soaring guitar. A finely composed track where we reconnect with nature through the sound of waves and seagulls.

We’re entering a new phase here at the label, kicking off with our first ever compilation in the form of ‘f=BASS²’, a collection of new music from our burgeoning Formula family, plus a few classics and anthems unearthed from the vaults. 

The first promo comes in the form of a split single from three pioneers in their respective fields; Terror Danjah & Zed Bias teaming up for ‘Telepathy ft. Olivia Louise’, backed on the flip by label founder Champion’s sterling remix of Flava D’s soul-drenched ‘Home’.

LG cut his teeth as a DJ in the thriving Sydney club scene of the early noughties. He was known for his sets of driving deep tech house, breakbeats and abstract electronica. Moving on from the turntables, LG starting playing the bass guitar and dabbling in music production with programs such as Ableton and Cubase. 

Over time his style has evolved and is now more deep, liquid drum and bass and trip hop with the sounds of live, organic instruments blended with lush electronic textures and solid, grooving basslines.
