TOP FLOOR (CLEAN VERSION)

Formerly known as $nake Eyez this Hip Hop & R&B recording artist, writer, actor and comedian was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois on October 2nd, 1999. As the eldest brother of two, Bruce's parents heavily emphasized the importance of academic excellence with having him do schoolwork several grades above. Despite his parents' dream for him becoming a doctor, Bruce at a young age wanted to go in a different direction aspiring to be an NFL QB. Nothing transpired out of this, due to not being able to afford the fees to play football in high school. In his junior year of high school, Bruce fell in love with acting after watching a King Of The Yee's production at the Goodman Theatre.
       In 2017, Bruce attended Indiana University Bloomington for one semester majoring in Theatre and Drama. After not being able to afford to continue his education, he was forced to drop out and work a 9-5 with his first job at Culver's. Mental health struggles started to rise with thoughts of feeling like a failure with being forced to leave school and stay with his parents. Depression soon followed with the lack of direction and self worth.
       After a failed start up to his YouTube career creating skits, Bruce decided to give up acting and turn towards music under the alias "$nake Eyez" in September of 2020. Three now deleted mixtapes were released under this stage name, including his most notable "Road To XXL" LP released on June 22nd, 2024. Around this time, he also revamped his YouTube channel (Now Under "I Am Bruce Leroi") doing comedic reactions and Philadelphia Eagles content.
         With little to no success as a musician, he decided to put an end to $nake Eyez, resulting in about a year long hiatus with serious contemplations on putting an end to doing music in general. In 2024, Antonio officially rebranded from $nake Eyez to Bruce Leroi.
        On January 24th, 2025, Bruce debuted his first single under the rebranding, "HOT SHI" remixing China Anne Mcclane's "Calling All The Monsters.  His musical influences were originally Kehlani, Fabolous, Eminem, and 50 Cent but later expanded to Nicki Minaj, Future, Travis Scott, and Beyonce who were major in evolving to a more melodic rap upbeat style versus the more traditional rapping and singing made being "$nake Eyez. His acting and comedy influences include Reggie Couz and Eddie Murphy.
       Bruce's music is best characterized by the saying "Hurt people hurt people". The vivid storytelling and compelling songwriting illustrate the internal war between the id and the superego. It can go from an innocent plea to a "FTW and everything in it" in a heartbeat. The braggadocio could often be misinterpreted as pure callousness and narcissistic. He still hopes to make the XXL cover one day and is not shy about claiming his rightful title as the best Hip Hop & R&B Artist in the world.
