Welcome to the-Red fan page! The Red is a blues rock duo, based in Wellington, New Zealand. Both Leona and Laurence write their own songs, with both playing guitar and both doing vocals.

Leona is a an accomplished songwriter/ musician, musically trained (so she knows all the notes-amazing! ) who plays keyboards and guitar and writes her own songs.

Laurence is a songwriter/guitarist with a feel for the blues. He plays bottleneck or slide guitar. And also loves playing electric lead. He learned classical guitar for a number of years.

Collectively they come from a background and a love of playing all types of music.
