"THE RENAISSANCE"  Mixtape 1

-THE RENAISSANCE-
Artists Kyle Kaner and Ari Eisenstat bring together their diverse musical backgrounds to form an innovative entertainment experience that has been called "The Rebirth of Dace." Using a state-of-the-art 42" Elulator Touchscreen, "THE RENAISSANCE" electrifies any dance floor with their chest-bumping beats. From Dub Step to Electro House to Top 40 Remixes, these Neo-DJs are committed to constantly evolving their sound and live performance. 

-THE DJs-
Kyle and Ari met while students at UW-Madison while the Electronic Dance Scene was still underground. Kyle has been immersed in music since he started formal piano training when he was 5 years old. Since then, he has masterted Piano, Electric Guitar, Bass and even played Trumpet in the UW marching band. His passion is dance music production, as he was just admitted into the prestigious Berkley School of Music for their electronic production program. 
Ari, too, has extensive music experience from being a trained singer from as early as he can remember. He has stared in many musicals growing up and has taught himself guitar, bass, and electronic production. For 11 years Ari has been entrepreneurially DJing since age 13 when he bought the first CD-Scratcing Turntables. 
For the past 4 years both Kyle and Ari have been to hundreds of concerts, clubs, raves, and music festivals and were inspired to come together to feature this creative energy in a way the world has never seen before. 

-THE EMULATOR-
Last summer, Kyle and Ari began using the Traktor DJ Software with 2 Mixtrack Pros and an X-1 Effects controller. This allowed them to play 4 songs at once while manipulating the sound with dozens of effects. However, there was still something missing. They found that the difference between DJing and other musical performance was that the audience was unable to witness the physical playing of the music- but no more... In the past few weeks, these enterprising DJs found and bought the brand new Emulator. This devices is hailed as, "The Future of DJing" It is a transparent touchscreen that allows the musicians to use Traktor and countless other programs right on the screen with the audience being able to see their every move. "The Renaissance' has one of the first 20 Emulators in the US and will be unveiling it at Segredo Night Club in Madison, Wisconsin. 

-THE REBIRTH OF DANCE-
Even before the Emulator, "The Renaissance" has ushered in a new culture to the dance music scene. Hosting "White-Tie Optional Attire' events, these DJs have remixed the rave/music festival experience with a formal dance party. Ties, Dresses, Glow-Sticks, Hula Hoops, and Costumes are not uncommon for the Renaissance Men and Women who come to help create this new musical experience. "The Renaissance" is currently recording their recent DJ sets and will make them available for free download, however, nothing will prepare you for what happens next with "The Rebirth of Dance".
