Berlin-based DJ and producer Amotik has been making waves since moving to the city in 2014. Known for his driving, energetic, and atmospheric sound, he’s established himself as a force in modern techno, both behind the decks and in the studio. His self-titled imprint launched in 2015 with a series of EPs, leading to guest spots on labels like 47, BPitch, and Figure.🔊

His debut album, Vistār (2019), and follow-up Patanjali (2022) received acclaim from Mixmag and Groove Magazine, who recognized him as one of their top 30 producers for 2022/23. 2023 marked the launch of his label AMTK+, a platform for artists that inspire him.💫 With appearances at Berghain, De School, Fabric, Fuse, Khidi, and Printworks, Amotik’s reach continues to grow. 

His SPND20 Mixtape marks a return to his roots, diving into house music—a rare mix under the Amotik name and his first official house release. It’s packed with tracks he used to play, even including one of his own early productions. Though he doesn’t often play house, recent closing sets at Panorama Bar have shown his range, and this set brings that energy home, recorded on 3 XDJ1000s + Xone96 mixer. Blasting his way into our series this week, Dutch producer Robin Kampschoer revs up the engines and lifts us off to higher spheres of consciousness through two hours of chiselled post-industrial sound engineering. Exploring the confines of techno, somewhere at the junction of proper raw, steely rhythms and further elevated ambience-scaping, the RKM boss and STOOR alum swings the pendulum betwixt full-blown warehouse-ready assault and inward-gazing escapism effortlessly. Elegantly brutalist, his approach is both one of nuance and impact, exalting and pensive in equal measure, never flinching in its quest for the sweet spot between raging horsepower and nostalgia-soaked harmonics.

Beste Hira is an adventurous, strong-willed and motivated DJ and Producer living in
Amsterdam, originally from Istanbul. Her character traits, combined with her creativity and
discipline, define her as a unique talent. Music has been a huge priority her whole life: she
focused her entire high school and university path on it, most specifically with the cello and
piano as her main instruments. She graduated from Ondokuz Mayıs University with a degree in
Music Education / Conservatory. During the early days of her career, she started producing and
DJing in Istanbul before she decided to move to Amsterdam in 2019 to pursue her vocation as
a techno talent.

Within electronic music, Beste Hira identifies with the hypnotic, fast paced and dark side of
techno. Her extensive musical training can be heard throughout her music production and DJ
sets, where she meticulously experiments with sounds to produce her signature, and, most
importantly, having an incredibly accurate intuition allows her to play out of her comfort zone
and surprise some of the most challenging crowds.

Beste Hira enjoys creating a full sensory experience in her performances, which results in
captivating journeys from beginning to end. Her knowledge and experience as an artist have
allowed her to grow in Amsterdam's eclectic underground scene, supported by key
Amsterdam-based crews such as Awakenings, Vault Sessions, DeSchool, Amsterdam Open Air,
909 and many more. Beste's presence in Europe is growing rapidly, especially after becoming a
regular at the mighty Berghain and other top notch clubs in capitals like Vienna, Madrid and
Paris.

Creating podcasts for communities based in Miami, Mexico, the UK, Europe and Turkey has
allowed Beste's voice to reach global audiences and has continually shaped her growth as an
artist. Cos, the first EP she released on her own, allowed her to break through the scene and
opened doors for her debut at the renowned underground Schimmer Records. She's got a lot
more coming up, including projects that integrate her classical background.

A lifelong disciple of music and performer since the age of 9, The Rev made the decks his pulpit in 1999. Since then, he has spread his ministry across the globe from New York to Detroit to Black Rock City to Amsterdam and most recently the Bay Area, This has included residencies at famed New York institutions like Guernica, Liquids Lounge, and the Wonderland artist loft.  His original work has been released on Gotham Grooves sister label, Gotham City Records and he has played alongside international talent like Wolf + Lamb, Adam X, Frankie Bones, Adam Jay, Marco Bailey and Jason Jinx.  Dance is a spiritual thing, and The Rev strives to take people to that special place with his sounds - be it on a cloud with warm house, in the dark recesses of the mind with pounding techno, or somewhere in between.  Whatever style he chooses, he strives to select tracks that have something special that grabs you and makes you want to move.
