Welcome along to Episode 7 of The Disco Waltons Mix Sessions. On hosting duties this week, it’s the Cool Whip himself ,Shalvoy (Peter) DJ, producer, and certified he-man. NYC-born and raised on a playground where he spent most of his days, now based out of Las Vegas (baby!) he be Chillin' out, maxin relaxin', all cool Shalvoy is a true groove conoissur, a tough guy to pin down — mostly because he’s always lugging crates of 45s up and down the Vegas Strip. But we’ve wrangled him in for an extended session, were super stoked to see what he has in store.

With releases on Tropical Disco, Super Spicy, Hot Gorilla, Spa In Disco, Mango Sounds, And Friends, Rare Wiri, Hot Digits, and Midnight Riot, from his latest release he’s bringing pure heat — expect plenty of disco - house gold nuggets.

The Black Light Disco Show enters the orbit of planet myhouseradio.fm once again with another two hour Monday sulk-buster to set you up nicely for the week ahead!

Its the start of a new month, and as we head into the autumnal haze the Pookie Knights lads are setting up in the Stevie Wonder Bistro here in BLD Towers, ready for a summer farewell set as they head off to Ibiza to play at the closing parties. 

For the first hour, we’re treated to a very special all vinyl set from the lads, featuring killer grooves from Phonk D, Mattei & Omich feat. Ella, Just Jam, D. Marco and Topaz to name but a few.  Heading up the second hour the case of deadly tunes is opened and includes tracks from the likes of Kyna, Frank Rodger, Dino Soccio, The Patchouli Brothers and Milano Edizone.

This week, I am really happy to welcome @lucky-sun to The Sunday Supplement 'Guest Mix Series' … ♥️

Lucky Sun (aka Tom Lown) is best known for his super deep productions which have been released on labels such as Lost My Dog, UM Records, Personal Belongings, Delve Deeper Records and his own Lucky Sun Recordings.  His first 2 albums ‘Olive Street’ and ‘Balance’ under his Lucky Sun moniker, were highly received by DJ Mag and a host of worldwide DJ’s. They featured collaborations with vocalists Alison David, Frank H Carter III and Deniz Reno. Some great support for this album came from DJ’s Hot Toddy, Rainer Trueby, Ashley Beedle, Marcia Carr, CJ Makintosh, Satoshi Fumi, Peter Kruder, Funky Foot, Colin Dale and reviews in The Yorkshire Times and 48 Hills (San Fran). 

‘Lucky Sun: Singles & Remixes’ album is set to be released in a couple of months. It includes collaborations with Jaidene Veda and Anna Ling, which have already had airplay on BBC Radio 1 by DJ S/A/M/ and Jazz FM. Look out for some Lucky Sun vinyl releases in 2026…

As a DJ, Tom has played in numerous clubs and parties in London including Plastic People and Coalesce, SubKulture in New York, Cala Bassa Beach Club in Ibiza, Club Macarena in Barcelona and currently enjoys a monthly residency at Dishoom Permitt Room playing an eclectic mix of vinyl. You can hear his monthly ‘Lucky Sun Radio Show’ on Bloop London Radio, 3rd Friday of the month 6-7pm exploring the deeper side of house music.
