In the great folk tradition that is the murder ballad, there is something of a gender bias. The apocryphal story is: guy meets girl, guy courts girl, girl refuses, guy kills girl. I decided to address this gender bias in a light-hearted response to traditional murder ballads such as "The Banks of the Ohio" and, well, I got a little carried away.
