Juno Download Guest Mix - Paul SG (Jazzsticks Recordings)

We have decided to do a 24 hour live DJ stream to support the amazing London's Air Ambulance. 

We have a close connection to this charity due to Tone's girlfriend & a good friend to us all, Natalie. Natalie was hit by a car on foot in Feb 2015 and sadly passed away in May 2018 due to her injuries being too severe. 

After an ambulance arrived they made the decision to call the London Air Ambulance so she could be air lifted to a specialist trauma hospital within 6 minutes. The point between impact and advanced medical care are essential to the recovery of the patient, every second counts. 

Each life-saving mission costs an average of £2300 and they treat on average 5 critically injured people in London every day, without the public's generous donations this would not be possible. At such a busy time for the charity, they are now in need to replace their two helicopters by 2024 and we want to help them achieve this. 

You really do not know the future and after being in that situation and completely dependent on this charity, you realise how important it is to help them keep doing the amazing work they do.

Natalie was the kindest person, the life of the party, a soul mate and a best friend. A massive hole in so many lives but she's with us everywhere we go.

His set at SUNANDBASS 2014 literally took the roof off of Ambra Night – a killer selection expertly put together – Spirit’s set was red hot and so it was a no brainer to get him back for the Podcast.

An important pillar of the Drum and Bass scene, Duncan Busto aka Spirit has been putting out essential tracks since 1996 on a whole host of labels including Metalheadz, CIA, Renegade Hardware and his own Inneractive imprint amongst many others. 

His SUNANDBASS Podcast showcases yet more strings to his bow – the first half made up of some of his favourite new deeper cuts, expertly woven together and illustrating his interest in a whole range of music and a style people might not expect. In the second half it’s time for an education, ‘Spirit’ style, as he takes us back to the early doors of Jungle and Drum and Bass – this one’s going to be on rotation for a while to come for sure!
