Breakdown is 100 bpm, drop A (on a Jackson Custom 7-String if anyone really needs that info), recorded into Logic Pro 9. Your submission, whether professionally mixed and recorded, or literally just a cell phone next to an amp, will be judged foremost on taste, creativity, and not on mix, tone, or even tuning. If you do not have access to good recording equipment and you live reasonably close to Salisbury, MD, we will be happy to record your solo for you! Eyes Of The Defiled Guest Solo

15" Macbook Pro w/Logic Pro 9
KRK Rokit 5 (1st Gen) monitors
all plugins were either Logic-native or free DL, open-source VST plugins
Re-amped guitar tracks using Kuassa Amplifikation Lite, doubled and panned hard R-L, then used Stereo Delay for some room.
Bass Amp has EQ and Overdrive for some bite, DI track has little done to it.
Vox were split hard R-L on chorus, used Platinum Verb and Delay to put it all back in the same space more or less.
I have no actual hardware apart from the monitors and a small Behringer Guitar DI box. Because of these restrictions I kept things minimalistic, just tried to make the Chorus pop a bit more than it did. I hope you enjoy and I hope you can imagine what new gear would do towards my craft. I appreciate your taking the time out to listen. Thanks!
