The Shadow Man, better know as Darren Clarke is part of the A&R team on Linger Records and Overtmind Records of Spain.

His interest in electronic Music dates back to when he was a child, songs like Gary  Numan’s Cars and Groups like Pet shop boys and Depeche mode, Eurythmics were great influences.

When he became 16 he was drawn to the hardcore/Rave scene in the UK, and for over 7 years was obsessed with playing happy hardcore and jungle the main genre that interested him. Around 1997 however he was attracted to the trance genre which was a refreshing change from the Hardcore scene which had become rather boring or the Drum n bass scene which had become too varied and lacking the Jungle elements of the Earlier years.

From 1997 to present he has been loving and playing trance, he favorite forms being uplifting and progressive, there are far to many producers to mention as being influential though Ferry Corsten has been one DJs that he has admired from day one. 

He is not a producer or DJ, so to pursue his love of trance he Joined the A&R team on the label Nu communicate owned and managed by Producer /DJ Ben Alonzi of Leicester, that was in 2010, in early 2012 he also joined the label Mindlifting Records/Linger Records

Now in 2013 he continues listening out for the latest talented producers on the scene.
