In this "The Shambala Project Version" my Taiko Drums are used to give the drum section more power. "Shambala Daiko" is the Taiko Performance Group around Jens-Peter Kadelka, a percussionist, artist, writer and drum teacher. He founded the group in 2009 after 3 years of experience in playing japanese taiko drums and 27 years of experience in "studying" percussion.

"The Shambala Project" is a musical project - worldwide unique in combining the japanese Taiko drum with Synthezisers and performing music "over styles/genres".

In both, the classical Taiko drumming as well as the combination of Taiko Drums & Syntheziser, we are composing songs and sounds for film scores, tv & games, too.

Additionally the power of the Taiko is a main factor in Mr. Kadelka´s health system called "The Phoenix Concept", where the special kind of playing a taiko is used to decrease and/or transform aggressivity and hyperactivity.
