“The Sheets” were born in Teramo in 2011 as a recording project composed by Davide Coccagna and Andrea di Bartolomeo. Both immediately felt the urge to bring their music on stage, where it is really lived and enjoyed, and decided to complete the band's line up welcoming keyboardist Stefano Befacchia and drummer Edolo Ciampichetti.

EARLY DAYS
Teramo, 2008. Asked by common acquaintances, Davide joins an Oasis tribute band where Andrea used to sing. He is definitely impressed by the latter's vocal timbre (very similar to Noel Gallagher's) and guitar skills. After some years spent on tour in Abruzzo, something was changing and they really needed to go forward, to express themselves in a better way and tell about what life was challenging them to by doing what they really liked to do: playing BritPop music.

THE MAGICAL CHEMISTRY
“I still remember the night when I asked Andrea to come over and listen to the first draft of a new song I had just composed: Magical Chemistry!”
Therefore, the bound that ties them together and that brought the two guys to compose and record their debut album “People Like Us” was born.

PEOPLE LIKE US
It is their first album, it is their voice, it is their passion translated in music to reach the heart of every people like them. The album is made up of 11 pure BritPop tracks, 45minutes of energy, feelings, passion. Inspired by the greatest bands of the British musical scene of 90's (Oasis, Stereophonics, Verve etc.) People Like Us was entirely composed/arranged/recorded at home without any external influence.

Recording sessions have kept the guys busy for almost a year but finally from 22 July 2013 “People Like Us” is for sale on digital download in the major online stores (iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Xbox Music...) and is receiving very positive responses from the World Wide Web.
Live footages and official videos will soon come out for the promotion of the album!
