‘G.O.Y.A.” Will Be Released On 10-8-13 via ST/Brick Records.
 
The CD version comes in a limited ‘Coca-Case’ package, featuring a foil-mirror cover, embossed with the word 'G.O.Y.A.', and including a 3.5 inch ‘Snuff Straw’ in the spine of the jewel case!
 
2012 was a prodigious year for Termanology, as he released two highly acclaimed projects: reconnecting with Statik Selektah for the second installment of their group endeavor 1982 (the 2012 album was released in May of 2012), a project that featured Mac Miller, Freddie Gibbs, Bun B, Crooked I, Havoc and Roc Marciano and spurned a worldwide tour, plus a collaborative project with M.O.P’s Lil Fame entitled Fizzyology (which was released in November 2012) that featured Busta Rhymes, Bun B, Styles P, Freeway and production from DJ Premier & The Alchemist. 
 
Term has also highlighted his stellar 2012 with numerous TV appearances, including judging BET’s “106th & Park” and a corresponding “The Back Room” freestyle, and was included on BET’s “The Cypha” alongside Mike Epps & French Montana.  Term also became a regular on MTV, including being a guest on Sway’s “Rapfix” and on MTV News’ “Mixtape Monday.”
 
Termanology will continue to build his legacy with his new solo-LP, G.O.Y.A. (Gunz Or Yay Available) which will be released on 10-8-13 via St/Brick Records.  “I love the vibe on this album, and it as recorded in Lawrence, MA; the city I grew up in as a kid” Termanology states.  “I am also excited about it because it features some artists I haven’t worked with before (N.O.R.E., Dice Raw of The Roots and Big Pun’s son Chris Rivers) and because I worked with an upcoming-producer (Shortfyuz) from my neighborhood on the entire project.  G.O.Y.A. has my traditional grimy street sound, but a lot of the slang and beats are really Latin influenced” Term relays.

Longtime observer and emcee of the culture Truth is set to release his debut album "From Ashes To Kingdome Come" on Ill Adrenaline Records. A few years back Truth formed an alliance with PF Cuttin (of Blahzay Blahzay) and together the Queens emcee and the Brooklyn producer/DJ/engineer are ready to release a typical 90's throwback sounding full-length that carries PF's thumbprint throughout. On the 18-track strong heater Truth picks up various topics, ranging from life experiences to repping hip-hop culture - always showcasing his passionate and sharp lyrical rhyme skills. Entirely recorded and mixed by PF Cuttin, the album's raw and dusty sound stays true to the streets, including features from heavyweights such as the late Sean Price, O.C., and AG (of D.I.T.C.). Newcomer JK1 The Supernova handles the majority of production along with veteran producers PF Cuttin, Psycho Les (of The Beatnuts), Da Beatminerz, and DJ Doom. Containing plenty of dope scratches mainly executed by PF Cuttin and Rock Steady's own DJ JS-1, the album's uniqueness remains on one accord with the boom bap sound and origin which is a rarity in today's music.

Truth feat. Sean Price "New Type Of Something"

Long Island producer BP delivers an equally slick and grimy new lyric video for “This Is Easy,” a gully, NYC-as-f*ck track featuring East Coast stalwarts Nature, Royal Flush, and Prodigy. 

Given their respective rap pedigrees, these three are bound to body any track they appear on—but together? “This Is Easy” is a prime example of why heads still look to Queens cats to provide gritty, uncompromising Boom bap. But it’s made that much more potent when driven through the sonic lens of BP, whose beat hits like a well-placed slap upside the head.

The raw production comes as no surprise to those who have heard BP’s previous collaborations with the likes of Killah Priest, Diabolic, Shyheim, and 9th Prince, among others. “This Is Easy” stems from the recently released ‘Target Practice,’ a Nature album produced entirely by BP and fueled by Hip-Hop made for mean mugs and head nods. Planet Asia helped jump-start the West Coast independent hip-hop movement, and has solidified himself as one of the most consistent and respected MCs in the game over his 20+ year career.   He dropped his debut EP with producer Fanatik in 1998, and followed up quickly with the singles "Definition of Ill" (Stones Throw) and "Place of Birth" (ABB Records).  In 2001, The Source Magazine gave him the ‘First Round Draft Pick’ and ‘Independent Album of the Year’ awards for ‘How the West Was One’, which was recorded with fellow CA rapper Rasco under the group name Cali Agents.  This landed him a deal with Interscope Records, where he was signed until 2003 without releasing an album.  

Planet Asia was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2002 for his feature on the song "W" by Mystic, and was later signed to Avatar Records, which released his official debut album, ‘The Grand Opening,’ in 2004.  It earned him another ‘Independent Album of the Year’ award from The Source.  Later, he started his own imprint Gold Chain Music, on which he has churned out multiple projects.  He has also collaborated on albums with the likes of DJ Muggs (‘Pain Language’), Evidence (‘The Medicine’) and Madlib (‘Cracks In The Vinyl’), among others, and released songs with artists such as Linkin Park, Bun B, Talib Kweli and Ghostface Killah.

The Fresno MC is fresh off of a strong 2017 which featured well-received collaborative albums with producers DirtyDiggs (‘Dirty Planet’) and Apollo Brown (‘Anchovies’). For 2018, Asia teamed up with Bay Area producer izznyce for this true solo project, sure to be considered the next classic in his vast catalog.

‘The Golden Buddha’ was produced entirely by izznyce (producer for Superstar Quamallah and more) and features AZ, Hus Kingpin, Turbin, Marvelous Mag, Killa Kali, TriState, Xiomara and The Architect.

Speaking on the project, Planet Asia says: “This album represents the foundation of what Planet Asia is about and that is ‘balance’. Me and izznyce also took our time with the record, and had a chance to really vibe out and make the type of music we personally like that will stand the test of time!”
