Rymdeko, the collaboration between The Space Wanderer and TTilawok, is an experimental house and techno project formed in Stockholm, Sweden. Rymdeko's debut self-titled album was recorded using a variety of analog and modular hardware combined in the studios of Elektronmusikstudion EMS Stockholm and will be released in 2019 on Postseason Franchise Records. TTilawok and The Space Wanderer are multi-instrumentalist sound artists collaborating internationally between Sweden and New York. Their work combines analog and digital sounds with recorded samples to form rhythmic energetic soundscapes.

Their take on production infuses computer-based techniques with classic modular frequencies to create a production inspired by ambient, electronica, nu-disco, jazz, house and techno.

On March 13th, Brooklyn underground electronic label Postseason Franchise Records will issue its first vinyl release, a collaboration between label founders The Space Wanderer and TTilawok under the name Rymdeko.
In late 2017, with Nicholas Comaratta (The Space Wanderer) visiting TJ Perrin(TTilawok) in Stockholm, they began working on what would become Rymdeko during an artist residency in Sweden's legendary electro-acoustic sound laboratory––Elektronmusikstudion (EMS). Over the course of one week they churned out a handful of tracks which slide from minimal techno to downtempo electronica. The resulting sounds of Rymdeko (“Space Echo” in Swedish) are a nod to their shared influences as well as their own solo creations. Their residency focused on combining vintage analog synthesizers and modular gear such as the Buchla 200 and Serge modular with altered samples to form rhythmic energetic soundscapes. Their take on production creates a listening
experience infused with modern processing techniques and classic modular frequencies and effects units. Both adept at creating sonic landscapes that fulfill their visions, they combine here for four tracks of refreshingly honest house and electro.
Postseason Franchise Records regularly donates proceeds from events and releases to organizations such as The Yellowhammer Fund, WIRES wildlife rescue Australia, and Cuba Analogica. Rymdeko is passionate about making a difference in our ongoing battle to reduce emissions and reverse the effects of climate change. Therefore, $1 from each Rymdeko record sold both digitally and physically will be donated to the Coalition for Rainforest Nations.
The Postseason Franchise Records Bandcamp will host a limited run of
translucent red vinyl, while additional black pressings will be available in select record stores in NYC, LA, and San Francisco.
