What It's All About

The stats are an all original 3 piece pop/rock band from Brisbane. 
The dynamic makeup of the band is
front man, singing / guitarist player Syd Thew,
bass player David Burke and
Drummer Alan Burke. 
These three musicians met nearly 15 years ago while gigging in various bands, playing the Gold Coast and Brisbane Indie Scene.
 
Mid 2012 Syd had a collection of original material penned out, ready to be recorded.
A few phone calls later, the three were back together, and the stats were born.
 
Syd’s song writing style perfectly matched the 3 piece line up with down the line rock riffs, captivating melodies and well-crafted, catchy pop / rock songs. Syd’s guitar playing style inspired by his favourite 90s bands with dirty sounds and melodic riffs, blend perfectly with the driving bass of Dave and the intricate, pounding beats from Alan.
All mixed together the stats produce fantastic, well-crafted songs, to satisfy true music fans.
