Inspired by chapters from Mourning Nature, the track echoes the book’s critique of control, displacement, and the pain inflicted by systems that prioritize progress over humanity.

Continuing their exploration of loss, solastalgia, and the emotional toll of modernity, “Open Plains” builds on themes from previous releases.
