Une invitation à parcourir l’Altiplano Potosino, région désertique du Mexique au-dessus de San Luis Potosi, à 400 km au nord de Mexico. Sur ces hauts plateaux à 2000 mètres, le désert est loin d’être vide. On entend les habitants des villages et des hameaux, les bergers avec leurs troupeaux de chèvres ou de moutons. On part à dos d’âne ou en calèche pour aller charruer les champs. Entre cactus et arbustes, des vaches cherchent quelques brins d’herbes. De retour au village, on se retrouve tous à l’église et à la fête locale. Les coyotes chantent en écho au train qui traverse l’immensité de ce “désert” mexicain peuplé de vies et de sons.
