Maybe this sounds lame or hard to explain. Sometimes on long flights I just think about things in my life over and over, I want to write them down but there's not always the right words that can tell the story of what's going on in my head, so I use music instead. More often than not I keep these pieces to myself because they aren't really 'coherent' & 'releasable' songs. The last time I released anything close was my 'Hotel Rooms' album.

Anyway I thought I'd share this one that I wrote today on the flight from Hong Kong to LA. I guess it's just a story, but one I have to say with music.

The Stranglers Banned are experienced musicians who create a unique show capturing the energy and passion of the original ‘men in black’ built around a truly amazing back catalogue spanning many musical styles from punk and rock through to psychedelic, electro and more. 

Rick (singer) and Jezza (keys) were founder members of legendary ska band, The Skatonics. Wanting a new challenge after 5 years playing ska they decided to set up a new band focussing just on The Stranglers’ music. The band started  gigging only last year and are already in great demand.
