So, as one does, I asked my smart speakers to decide what should go in my earholes. Typically this activates the same song on both channels, but by happy accident, technology decided it was a time for a soundclash between Bakey and Jordi Cantos... and an idea was formed...

Have you ever immediately begun to mourn the loss of a friend you've just met? The spark is just so intense that you just know that you'll try to capture that lightning in a bottle and in the process snuff it out. And while the waves of sadness still occasionally washes over in the aftermath of that fractured connection, you wouldn't trade what you learned from them & about yourself for the world.
I started this after Otherworld 2025 (Vancouver Island Regional Burn), so late Spring, and now that the Solstice has come, it's time to release all that and take a less fidgety, more relaxed approach to life & music (life, of course, is music, and learning to dance with it).
Huge debt of gratitude to Nataly Dawn & Lauren O'Connel for the vocals & guitar, and putting into words my experience better than I could myself.
All other sounds, drums, rhythms, melodies, riffs, chords, painfully handcrafted by me from hardware sources. No breakbeats were harmed. That's all my own hand drumming and programming.
