Another Re-release of a older mix I made about 8 years ago. Back then, this was my signature sound that I feel like I got recognized for. Dare to be different I guess?

A lot of these tracks I would still get down to, to this day! That being said, there's a few I wouldn't get caught playing anymore either haha..

The Sultry Lounge Vol.4

Well, it's that time again!

A brand new mix with all tracks selected and mixed by yours truly. 

This time it's the cozy winter mix with a lot of slower, melodic tunes, perfect for the upcoming winter 'hibernation'. It took me a long time to compile these songs as they don't really follow any named electronic genre. These are tunes I felt would be fun dipping and swooping on a magic carpet ride high up in the sky!

Also, a MASSIVE shout out to one of my newest friends Celeste, whom I met this year at Bass Coast through friends. It turns out that she is an animator by profession. Magic Carpet Ride

In an effort to diversify and challenge myself, I've dove into the world of house music . It's only taken me about 20 years...  It feels like most dj's start with house music, so I guess I'm a bit backwards. Shrug?

This one was surprisingly challenging for me as I basically had to dive head first into a whole new, absolutely massive genre of music. Although it generally fits the "four on the floor' formula, the diversity is quite impressive. There is truly SO MUCH of it out there! Because of that, I found it sometimes difficult to carve out the good from the bad. I do feel like I became a better dj through creating this one. 

Here are some of my selections that fit the upbeat but laid back vibe I was going for. Perfectly suited for background music while you do your House Keeping. Funk house done proper. This is happy music y'all!

I want to give a huge shout out to the lovely Jessica for the original artwork. I gave her the fun and silly idea of random animals doing the housekeeping while the dj is rocking tunes in the basement. She absorbed the idea and took it from there. There is so much to look at in this painting! Take your time! This mix was actually recorded quite some time ago, but I knew I wanted to wait for her art to be complete prior to release. So glad I did!

Housekeeping

In 2012 I arranged and mixed the original "Dressed To Impress!" mix that was very well received at the time. That being said, I've always thought that although it started out hype but then trailed off in energy as the tempo slowed. I've always felt like this mix deserved a re-rub to give it the recognition it deserved, so here it is!

The Sultry Lounge.

Well I hope you all enjoy this one! This one has, by far, taken me the longest to build. It has taken me years upon years to acquire enough "eastern fusion" type" music that I liked enough to put on a dj mix of mine. Then to try and solve the puzzle of how to group &amp; order them together was quite the head fuck...

Dressed To Impress!

A compilation of some of my favourite tracks I've acquired over the winter. Recorded entirely on my Vestax PDX 2000 turntables, DJM 800 mixer, and Scratch Live 1 interface, all run through my macbook's garageband. No post-recording polishing was done. I take no credit for producing any of these tracks, I've simply arranged &amp; mixed them in my preferred order.
