The Super Tragedy is a hip-hop collaborative comprised of Rick Theory & K.W.E.S.T (Knowledge Willingly Expressed So Truthfully).

 Their musical tastes range from Hard Core Rock to Club/Dub-Step and anything in between. While holding full time jobs they have made it a point to use their free time to continue pursuing their passion of making music together. With a unique sound that touches on the sub-culture of underground hip-hop, The Super Tragedy uses lyrics that are based on life experiences, such as emotional break throughs, psychological metaphors, intelligent wit, and tongue twisting lyrics that make most of their songs sound fast paced, emotionally driven, and understandable by the second or third play thru.  

Along with writing, they also create instrumentals and work with other artists . Their music is influenced by many underground/alternative hip-hop artists such as: Kool Keith, Aesop Rock, EL-P, MF Doom & The Gravediggaz to name a few. They have been performing & making music together in their spare time since 2006.
