Before I saw that you're from Manchester, my first thought was "sounds like a Manchester accent". Great stuff - a hint of Oasis swagger with a dollop of psychedelia.

Man, this song reminds me of being a teenager. Me and my friends would drop acid and sit outside smoking hookah and listening to trippy music. Great track and thanks for the vibes.

What chain of pedals and/or effects did you use on the guitar solo? I'm gonna guess delay and reverb, but I hear something else. I'd like to create a similar sound.

This also nearly fell into the song abyss. A couple of years ago my son and his friends were considering starting a band and at the time were listening to a lot of Oasis/Britpop. We were talking about how they would go about writing songs and I put together two songs as a starting point for him (This and Strangest Weather). The band idea quickly fell apart and two years later he's listening to dance music and learning to DJ. However,, I did feel it had a touch of an epic sound so have glammed it up for the album (despite it being derivative of its influences)
