Finally, after literal months, I can publish this OST created for Spavit and his animation to all streaming platforms. The Project: MERC 2 OST IS FINALLY HERE FOR EVERYONE TO LISTEN! By far my best track, the most detailed and filled with different emotions in one single 8 minutes long song. I am REALLY happy how this turned out to be in the end, and I really hope everyone who listens to this has a nice experience and reaction. :D

2 months in production, with a lot of changes from the first version I made of it. Originally meant to be a Deathstep track, a spark of inspiration has hit me right in the face - I just thought to myself "what if this became a Color Bass track?" and so I just tried to vocode the main bass and BOOM, it was one of the coolest colorful basses I've made! And just after that, I continued making basses after basses, patterns after patterns to the point of completing the whole song.

More dedicated fans of Madness Combat might have noticed this, but the melody used in the intro till the first build-up is a clear reference to the fourth installment OST "Main Theme" (it's the actual name I think), plus the drop contains pretty heavy references to the first Project: MERC OST!



To end this little story: thanks to everyone who had the time to read all of this, to the people who actually care a lil bit on the insights, and to the people who listened to this OST till the end! I really hope this was worth the time waiting for this to come out and the time listening to this.
